The Lincoln Hills Golf Club - Orchard Course

We will go back. Good course. Good staff. Good experience.

Was booked for lincoln hills, was put on their orchord course. gps stopped working after the forth hole. caught up to a sixsome and didn't let us play through. five hour round????

With the wide open fairways, you can hit driver on most holes. Only a few tee shots require more strategy.
The greens were sanded, but usually they're in nice condition.
The bunkers were bad. Some were fluffy, some were crusty, and it looks like players don't rake their footprints.
I like playing here early in the morning, before 7, or in the heat of the afternoon. The Sun City residents play mostly from 8-12. If you avoid the peak hours, the course feels empty.

Have you ever been to a course to be disappointed once you started to play. This was not the case here. The course is very well taken care of from tee boxes to the greens. Course is very challenging from the placement of the bunkers, to water coming into play.
Only bad thing I noticed was that I never saw the beer cart.

Nice course. Not quite as nice as the other side(The Hills) but still plenty of fun. Starter was very nice as were the folks at check in. Fairways in better than average shape. Cart was brand new which was nice. GPS on carts worked well with yardages to important points on holes as well as the greens. Greens were in OK shape;I think they may have sanded/areated them recently.

Greens were very bumpy, because they were punched and sanded a couple days before we played....wish I would have known. However, it was still a good day to play and we had fun with this course layout. We played the Orchard course which is a bit longer than the Hills course.

I was NOT happy with a 5 hour round... VERY slow group ahead of us... the youngest was probably 75years old.... and NO marshal anywhere to be seen. Also the GPS on the cart did not work...aarrgg.

I will likely play here again when the weather warms up and the older folks won't be out because it'll be to hot AND the greens will most likely be in superb condition.

Note: DO NOT HIT DRIVER ON 13 or 14....you'll be sorry if you do. A 3/4 3 wood or hybred is the way to go.

Unfortunately when I came on this day they had punched the greens and were installing new GPS systems onto their golf carts. Course was not up to standard but under these conditions I can see why. I would play here again tho!

Great course from the tips. Greens had just been aerated and the course played slow as the result of such. Nice facility, would play again under different course conditions.

Always a great experience, have played this course a number of times, and used Golfnow, numerous times.
Great value

I've played here probably 20 times and always enjoyed the course. This day the wind was blowing at 20 mph with gusts to over 30 mph so not a typical day. Slow play and lost balls were the rule but to be expected. I've had a number of issues with carts dying in the past but it looks like they may have solved that problem.
Pretty much exposed to any high winds and can be blistering hot in the summer but overall a challenging, fun course.

We were the first ones out, staff was super friendly. The course was in great shape greens rolling fast and true. Lots of undulations, never a flat lie makes for a challenge. Would play again anytime!

Many courses are too busy to even smile and offer a proper greeting. The staff in the pro shop are excellent, kind, and professional. Thus, begin the start of a wonderful experience of the game of Golf. The course is well maintained and I will continue to golf here and would recommend Lincoln Hills to anyone.

The greens rolled very nicely and quick ,overall pretty good conditions.Not a lot of trouble on this course so you can let the driver loose on most holes.Pace of play was good. No hot dogs in the bar " just sold out" at noon. No sandwiches on the bev cart " just sold out" and the usual Lincoln Hills 10 to 15 minute wait to check in and buy range balls, with 1 asst.pro working the desk of a facility with 2 courses on a 70 degree friday of a 3 day weekend .The GPS worked occasionally on some holes and it felt like the front end of the cart was going to fall apart in the fairway.Everything at LH. Needs attention except the course itself.

Thoroughly enjoy playing at Lincoln Hills Golf Course (Orchard Course). Beautiful forgiving fairways, well tended greens and well kept tee boxes for a fair price. Always look forward to booking a tee time at Lincoln Hills Golf Course!

My family & I ALWAYS enjoy playing Lincoln Hills! The course is always immaculate & staff are always wonderful! We have a great round (maybe not score-wise) every outing with LH!

Nicely maintained, relatively flat, not a walking course,with some wideopen holes and with several tight bunker and hazard protected greens. Big greens roll true. Having carts with GPS is a plus.

The course was in great shape staff as well as friendly and helpful and the price you can't beat when you go through GolfNow.com

There are some overwatered areas, but was in good condition on the fairway. The roughs needs a little more trimming but is not bad. Lost 2 balls in the middle of the fairway??? Greens are moderate as far as condition is concerned but is a little slow. Great for the money at 21 each plus the 4 booking fee(didn't know it went up from 2 - thats a 100% increase!)
