Challenging Greens
Course is very playable and forgiving. Green side bunkers have good playable sand. The green speed was consistent, however they are challenging for golfers not familiar to the course.
Prime season for Fl golfers
…with prime season ramping up seeing all courses played with very short fairway grass so one gets tremendous rolls on drive’s but like putting surface after that and this course is in that genre.
.. greens were rock hard and virtually did not hold chips/wedge shots… so much so I used driver then 3wood and putter 3x to par the last par 5…that is how hard the fairway and greens are
Course is more links like but a good place if you are ok with roadways parallel fairways so slicers beware lol
Played several times during the week greens were some of the fastest I’ve played and in great condition good practice facility and great staff Was able to drive as a single in my own cart
People should learn to play correct tees.
Overall course was fun and the conditions good but jeeze a marshal telling the couple in front of me to play the correct tees would have been nice. The man played the tips and the woman 6000 yards. It would take her 4 shots to go 150 yards when she wasn’t in the water 50 % of the time, He was not much better. They must be regulars at the course since the pro shop guy knew them but it was painful to be behind them. Aside from that course filled a late afternoon inexpensive alternative to other places I play. Not really in pretty area but can’t really complain much about the physical condition of the course.
Late tee 3:22PM
Due to the late tee I was asked to return the cart by 6PM. There was plenty of light left and I probably would have gotten at least 3 more holes in before dark. Only played 12 and feel I did not get my monies worth, but the holes played were nice, but I had a very slow player in my group which also did not help the speed of play.
Worth it
Enjoyed the track and greens. Some spotty areas I. Some fairways, but playable
