Franklin Canyon Golf Course

I play here more regularly than I should because it’s affordable and you can get a tee time somewhat last minute (at least by COVID golf standards).

Course continues to get worse each time I play it. You’ll be playing off of dirt if you miss the fairway, and you’ll have a very tight lie even when you hit the fairway a lot of times. Greens are inconsistent.

My friend even cancelled his tee time for the following weekend after the 3rd hole because of the conditions.

Greens are in rough shape burn marks and nobody fixes ball marks. We were first group out for the day and the ball marks that were left from days before were terrible trying to out though holes is just ridiculous it was never this way before.

Love the layout. But in very rough condition. . Lack of water, of course, and slow greens. Not recently cut. (Everything)

More bare spots in the fairways than there should be

Glenn’s are passable but everything else is just awful. No maintenance l, brown and bare ground everywhere. Avoid playing there if you value your time and money.

One of many courses on my list to play. Definitely will comeback.

Overall I enjoyed myself, but like most courses these days it could use more H2O to make the course more green and lush. Unfortunately too many dried or browned out area’s. Greens appeared patchy but the balls rolled nicely.

They’re watering the place again!

Perhaps by charging $60+, they can afford water.

It’s in nice shape and we had a well paced round on a Sat afternoon: 3 hr, 45 min. Fun day.
