Franklin Canyon Golf Course

Had a good time at Franklin. We had a 7:20 tee time on a Sat morning and the pace of play was good (we were sitting down for lunch in Concord by noon). Had walked the track many times for junior tournaments but never played it myself before this. The layout was solid and not too hard. Some shots were narrow so you needed good aim/accuracy. Course conditions were decent - tee boxes OK, fairways good, greens very good. We had a prepaid tee time and everything was set up and ready to go when we arrived (our carts had signs with our name and tee time) so we didn't really interact with the staff much other than to confirm our group and tee time. Kudos to their staff and operations for being so well organized.

Lush fairways, tee boxes in great shape, greens run true. Pleasure to play, would play again.

Players check in staff was extremely unfriendly, bordering being rude. They need to attend good public dealings class. Total disaster. Very argumentative. Shall I continue?

Mats only for practice range and very old. Golf balls used on range horribly old and beat up. Course in fair condition on fairways. Greens were good but very bumpy. Practice green closed by first tee. Golf carts very old and in bad shape.

I traveled from South San Francisco to play this course. Rain was Forecasted for latter in the day. I showed up 2 hours before my tee time.They put me on the soonest available tee time to beat the incoming weather. AWSOME STAFF.I will definitely be coming back.

Franklin has a fun set of holes to play. It doesn't have the best maintenance but the greens manage to stay in good condition. I'd say the course leans toward being easy, but there's a couple of challenging holes and it can be easy to lose a couple of balls.

During the winter time (Dec/Jan) the course can be shaded by the surrounding hills and can get 10 degrees colder than other areas. Bring an extra layer.

This course is a good value. It’s fairly well kept and a good time. I’d recommend playing here and will continue to go

Franklin canyon+s are so friendly and very accommodating. I also like to comment on how clean their bathrooms are , and to include bathrooms along the course. Definitely would like to go play it more often on our group outings.
