Callippe Preserve Golf Course

My FAVORITE COURSE! We played on a Wednesday morning, first group out!! Having a great time, playing well, enjoying the day!!

As we were teeing off on 6, all of a sudden we had a group of 3 ahead of us, they moved on, looked more like a lesson was going on, no big deal. We made the turn, played through 13. ALL OF A SUDDEN WE HAVE 2 GROUPS OF 3 ahead of us. WE WERE the first ones off, nobody was around. We teed off on 14, went to play our second shot and the 1 group was waiting to tee off on 15. They were waiting on a 4some ahead of them ! Then we looked on 15 and there was a group of 5 in the fairway! No one said there was anything going on or what, don’t know if they were only playing the back 9 or what. Many of them were walking. Nonetheless, we went back and played 14 again; the group was still on 15 talking and waiting to tee off. We couldn’t wait, had to cut our round short. We were 63 minutes ahead of time, so we were playing fast. Still don’t know how 3 groups of golfers got ahead of us and the starter wasn’t at his podium when we went back up. Oh and there was 10 people waiting to tee off on 1, 10 had a group of 4 playing also. We were just puzzled at how 3 big groups, walking, got ahead of us and nothing was indicated to us when we checked in. WE WERE 63 MINUTES AHEAD, no way we should have people in front of us, we tee’d off at 6:15 in the morning

More than 5 hrs on a Monday mid-day. Not sure if it had anything to do with Easter Monday. Greens were still recovering from treatment so not perfect. It's a challenging course. Restaurant food average at best.

Generally you may enjoy and relax the course. But, one thing you need to be careful is lots of bunkers!!!!!

Perfect service in the pro shop. Timely and king. Beautiful woman in the bar. Very helpful and nice to see her! The course was nice. Players do need water. I brought a refillable but there were no water coolers on the course. The golf is amazing. Course is set up to challenge every golfer. Greens were just punched so that was unfortunate. I hope they are back soon. Cart has cool gps and that came in very useful! All and all 9 out of 10! I will be back 4 sure!
