Callippe Preserve Golf Course

Always fun to play. The bunkers need more sand. I was in 8 and only one let me do a traditional blast.

Course is challenging., lost a good 8 - 10 balls in the water, OB, etc....

I booked a later twilight round as that is all my schedule allows some days, but given the quality of the course, courtesy of the staff, GPS cart included, selection of tees, and overall setting, it’s a great value for the money in my opinion. Only slight complaint were dry spots / lack of sufficient grass in a couple of spots in the fairway, oh and a bunker or two that I saw would use a little more sand—but that is being QUITE critical of the course. I do NOT mean to imply that it was anything like a muni (nothing wrong with them, but they are often packed with traffic and under-attended to), because that is not the case. It feels like playing a private country club for public course rates, and a good deal on those as well (earlier twilight round is often $35, later which is usually 9 holes + can be $20-25, cart included).

My t time was not showing on their system. Luckily there was a cancellation at 3pm and the golf course took me in.

The hot weather has taken it's toll on the course with some bare spots. The greens were a little overwatered and a bit shaggy today. Pace of play should have been faster but overall a great day. The course is difficult from the black tees and a real test. The layout is just really well done and the greens are great.

I spent half a day on the course with not son. It was beautiful. The course is nice and perfect course.

Seems they need more sand on bunkers. It was too hard to make shots on bunkers.

Besides this, it was nice to play.

Staff is rather negative toward my booking with golf now. I think if the golf course is not happy with golf now, the golf course should discontinuous with golfnow instead of air out toward the customer.

Full golf course. Hills and sloping fairways. Quick greens for the most part. A lot of hazard and canyon areas on almost every hole. Many errant shots will penalize you with blind shot or OB. Great condition, carts were solid. Cart part only on a few holes and in some areas on other holes. 4.5 hour round. Not great for beginners.

Well maintained, tight fairways can be challenging. Many shots over creeks or canyon areas.
