Callippe Preserve Golf Course

Always enjoy playing game at Callippe. Love the amenities and course condition! Only one issue on 11/12/2021. Due to Veteran day exhibition matches, we did not had enough carts. Thus we were allowed to play only after 25 minutes past the Tee time.

I have played here many times throughout the years and I have always enjoyed the course. However, the past few times I have played, I had to wait for a cart which made me miss my tee time. Yesterday, the starter put my group of 3 on the tee box and then had us step down because the group I front of us was late by 15 minutes. I paid for 18 holes and was only able to get through 9 because of the pace of play. A little more organization would go a long way.

We have played there before. The lay out is nice with slopes and dog lakes decorated with green trees. There are a lot of people playing that day. But the pace of play was pretty good.It was over cast and rain started coming down on 16th and we quit in the middle of 17th because it was too dark but we all enjoyed the round.Food and service at the restaurant was pretty good. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COURSE.

Layout is fun, interesting and diverse. The greens were punched recently so they were really slow, but that comes with the maintenance! The pace was below average vs other times I've played there, but I never have a bad time here .. the value is very good.

We had a TeeOff for 12:45pm but there were over 4 groups of walking foursome kids that we’re starting ahead of us. Took over 5.5 hours to complete our round. You should not allow booking if you have tournaments going on.

This course has some pretty difficult holes for the “average” golfer, but overall, enjoyable!!

They were punching and sanding the front nine greens. So we played the back 9 twice. Pretty good deal for $30 including cart. Tomorrow they will be doing the back 9. Greens won’t be ready for a few weeks

Always fun to play. The bunkers need more sand. I was in 8 and only one let me do a traditional blast.

Course is challenging., lost a good 8 - 10 balls in the water, OB, etc....

I booked a later twilight round as that is all my schedule allows some days, but given the quality of the course, courtesy of the staff, GPS cart included, selection of tees, and overall setting, it’s a great value for the money in my opinion. Only slight complaint were dry spots / lack of sufficient grass in a couple of spots in the fairway, oh and a bunker or two that I saw would use a little more sand—but that is being QUITE critical of the course. I do NOT mean to imply that it was anything like a muni (nothing wrong with them, but they are often packed with traffic and under-attended to), because that is not the case. It feels like playing a private country club for public course rates, and a good deal on those as well (earlier twilight round is often $35, later which is usually 9 holes + can be $20-25, cart included).

My t time was not showing on their system. Luckily there was a cancellation at 3pm and the golf course took me in.
