Staff changed tee time without question to the next day and I was able to play all 18 holes with my 11 year old son without being slowed down or pushed by a group from behind. Probably my best golf experience in years. The course is immaculate, greens are phenomenal and the number of tee boxes (5) on every hole allows for very good golfers as well as seniors and in my case kids. With 20 min breaks between tee times allows for a zero stress round and the ability for a group to hit from multiple tees based on golfing ability. A must play for anyone in the Williamsburg area. In the future I will travel the 1.5 hours to play CH again as often as I can. Price was very reasonable for the experience my son and I had. We changed our plans so we could play the course again today....can't wait.

I found this course to be challenging but not overly difficult (as I have heard). The staff was very friendly and the course, driving range and practice putting areas are all well maintained. I disliked only one hole because both my drive and approach shots were blind but the rest were great. Fully intend to continue to play this course which is a great value for the money by comparison to other courses in the area.

This is a great Arthur Hills design that winds through subdivisions and beautiful woods with lots of elevation changes. The course was in fantastic shape and the staff was wonderful!!!! The layout is not that long from the tips but does force precise shots to very receptive / firm greens. The practice area is very nice as well. I highly recommend this fun and challenging course if you can get a good deal on golfnow.com because it is a little pricey without their great discounts.

If you're looking for an easy, level straightforward resort-style course, this is not for you. The changes in elevation, variety of stances and fast greens make this course a challenge. If you shoot over 90 and/or are wayward off the tee, bring plenty of balls. Having said all that, this ranks up there with riverfront in suffolk and royal new kent for offering up a course that plays as good as it looks.

I played this course a few years ago when it first opened and it was nice to go back and see how it's matured. The only thing i don't like are the holes with blind shots into the greens, but that's a minor complaint. It's a fun track that I'll recommend to friends.

Great course...beautifully maintained ... The couse is Colonial HERITAGE, not Colonial. Colonial was a course in the area that no longer exists

Three very difficult holes. ##s 5/16/17. My wife could not clear hazzards on 16 & 17.

I liked the course very much... A lot of good challenging holes with a lot of elevation changes... I'm about a 8 handicap and had a great experience.. My wife however who is a beginner didn't a as much because of the many "carry " holes... All in all I would go back and play again...

I saw rangers, but they did not assist in speeding up Play. Over 5 hours was Way Too Long... to play golf.

Booked about an hour before playing and was very impressed with all aspects of the course and facilities. One of the best deals I've encountered and I travel quite a bit.

Great course layout. Great fairways but somewhat narrow need to be accurate. Leave the driver in the bag. Tough greens. I liked the course alot I will be back.

This is a great course and facility. The fairways are just starting to catch. Price could have been lower due to conditions. I paid mid season rates for a course not ready to play yet.

Good course but requires keeping the ball in the fairway more so than usual. Made more difficult today because course was cart path only due to recent rain. Plan on going back on another day when course has dried out a bit.

Early spring with no grass on the fairways made this course play hard. A lot of blind shots. The greens were just aerated so they were difficult to put. Beautiful layout & scenery was great.

Must play for those who appreciate great value and the game of golf

The staff was very friendly and course was well maintained, however dormat due to the winter. I look forward to playing it again when the temperature warms up a bit and grass is nice and green. On our outing, the pace of play was perfect, as there were no other golfers within a few holes of us all day long.

I PULLED UP AND PUT MY BAG ON THE RACK. A YOUNG GENTLEMAN CAME OUT AND SAID HE WOULD GET MY CART. I GO INSIDE TO A WELL STOCKED PRO SHOP WHERE I FEEL LIKE I'M ABOUT TO HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I CHECK IN AND PAY FOR A YARDAGE BOOK. WORTH EVERY PENNY BY THE WAY. LEAVE OUT TO FIND MY BAG STRAPPED ON TO MY CART AND READY TO GO. THIS DOESN'T COST EXTRA SO DON'T BE CHEAP. TIP! I ASKED ABOUT THE PRACTICE FACILITIES. I'M DIRECTED THROUGH A TUNNEL AND TO THE RIGHT TO FIND A CHIPPING GREEN SURROUNDED BY DIFFERENTIATING CONDITIONS JUST AS I WOULD FIND ON THE COURSE AND BALLS IN PYRAMIDS WAITING TO BE HIT. FAST FORWARD TO THIS AMAZING COURSE. BREATHTAKING SCENERY, OUTSTANDING VIEWS, AND HOLES CHALLENGING YET ENTIRELY TO MUCH FUN. IF I GUSH ANYMORE ABOUT THIS COURSE YOU'LL PROBABLY THINK WE'RE GOING STEADY SO TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT. OUTSTANDING COURSE. OUTSTANDING FACILITY. OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE!!!
