Hadn’t played here in few years and in better condition than ever! Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in great shape. The course is challenging with a number of holes that require great precision, plenty of uneven lies and a few blind shots add to the intrigue. Will play here again soon!

Played this course on June 1st 2024. By the time we were on hold 7, we were already 2 1/2 hours into our game. There were 3 carts in front of us and 3 carts behind us impatiently waiting. After calline the pro shop and talking to. Corey, he stated that he would refund our money. When we returned to the Clubhouse he stated he spoke to his golf pro. The golf pro would not refund any money. I explained he had told us he would refund our money, therefore, we drove all the way back to the golf Clubhouse. He stated he could not. This was very frustrating. We will not play this course again when we return to Williamsburg.

Colonial Heritage is a solid track in Williamsburg for the price point. The pace of play was excellent (<4 hours for two) on a slow Monday afternoon. The course is a very challenging layout that is well accounted for in its course rating and slope. The fairways were plush and well groomed. The rough was not well taken care of and inconsistent. The greens were also not well recovered from a recent aerification, and I would recommend waiting until after the Memorial Day holiday to play it if you want better greens. The staff was friendly, helpful, and laid back, as were other players we encountered. They appeared to have a nice range but we did not use it.

I’d play it again, and recommend it to others. I would just wait until after the greens healed before I went back.

Good course with a very decent layout, greens were still aerated from a few weeks ago so they were really slow and bumpy. Will look to play the course during the summer.

From the starter to the course team, everyone treated us well. We had a few new golfers and the team was first rate. Will come back again and look forward to playing the course.

Had a great day playing this course. Front 9 is nice, but the round really gets interesting at the turn as the back 9 demands some good shot making and resulted in some big scores for me. Really nice layout and the greens were incredibly true for this time of year.

I am a bogey golfer and my brother is a 10 handicap. We read the reviews and brought lots of golf balls!

Our first impression was that this club would go private since it is private level in every respect.

The course is very unique in design and challenging. If you do not hit the ball straight this is not a course to play.

We thought it was a hidden gem and will play again. Very friendly staff.

Booked a couple of days in advance, taking a chance on the weather. It rained, so a little cold and wet. But a lot of fun and only a handful of brave souls roughing it out.

The course design is amazing. Definitely difficult, but not as tough as some posters here make it out to be. I’m a high handicapper and played the blue tees. Lost 3 balls on hole 5, but 2 were shanks by me.Staff was very friendly. Greens were fast. Fairways gorgeous.

I’ll definitely be back.

Awesome value. Greens are beautiful and tricky. The entire course layout is tough but really fun playing the elevation changes. Can't wait to go back!
