My wife and I love this beautiful, challenging, fair golf course . With plenty of choices in Williamsburg, this is memorable. Ravines nestle some fairways, while other fairways are more straighforward. The hardest par 5 in Virginia is here and it is FUN!. two or three sets of ladies tees and a total of about 12 combinations of tees will suit just about any golfer except beginner here. love it. WE WILL BE BACK!

Course was in good shape; no excuse for me not playing better. A little tough for my first go at it; definitely have to manage your game to the course. Looking forward to playing it again next golf season.

This is a fabulous, fun, challenging, and beautufully maintained course whose layout maximizes the beauty of Williamsburg's hilly, woodsy terrain while incorporating the terrain into the design of many holes. There are blind shots. Not only do I recommend driving up to see what you've got ahead before many shots, I highly recommend playing your appropriate tee box. This course and Kiskiack are similar, with Colonial Heritage the superior course. Its fairways are proper country club variety, where with a good ball strike, you can hit the shot you intend. All positive recent remarks on golf now are true. In addition, their Five tee boxes and Combo tees , rated for men and women total 17 different slope/and ratings. Thus, large varieties of players can enjoy one of Virginia's most highly rated golf courses.

Was "cart path only", which made for slow play. Tee time was 2 pm and we didn't get to play the 18th due to darkness. However, one of my favorite courses in the area!

Looks quite short on the card but plays much longer. Was wet when we played but conditions were not bad. Lot of risk/reward shots and forced carries but an interesting layout. 3hrs for 18 holes in a twosome

The Bermuda Rough is too Fluffy and Deep for the average resort Golfer! Needs cut! Also you must play the proper tees because with little or no roll in the fairways second shots are long into the par 4’s. Arthur Hill Courses are Punishing in all respects. Play UP like Jack Nicklaus urges! One more thing, a layout of the course on a sheet or scorecard is needed. Going in Blind is Very Difficult!

Very well maintained and challenging. Pace of play always great. The best value in the area for top tier courses. A must play

bad luck of the draw - they aerated the greens last week or a week before. greens were kinda bumpy. i should have asked before booking t.

First time playing this course and absolutely fell in love with it. The challenging greens and blind shots were awesome. Pace of play was perfect. Definitely coming back.

This course has a lot going for it and they are doing a good job with keeping the fairways and the tees and greens in great shape! Unfortunately though, the rough is too long! We're not playing the PGA Championship out here so I wish they could do a little bit better with that.

I played 8/1/2020. Course was in great shape overall - tee boxes and fairways in great condition 8/10. Greens were good but not great 7/10 ( we had an early tee time and it rained the day before. they started to get faster and better towards the end of the round as they dried out). The course plays longer than stated yardage due to elevation changes. Several holes require blind shots over hills or around corners into tight greens. If you're a long driver, be ready to play 3 wood off the tees for many holes. The elevation changes were pretty unique to the area with intersting hole layouts that challenge the player to make some tough risk/reward decisions. Good course overall - would definitely recommend. Im not military but they offer a $15 military discount.

We played on a 95 degree plus day. It was after 1 pm and the course was pretty empty. We LOVED the layout. The course was beautifully maintained, staff friendly, and pace of play extremely fast. We cannot wait to play again!
