Worth the Hot Deal
Played Saturday at noon, group in front of us was late so we went off at 1150, finished in 4.5 hours, which is great for a Saturday afternoon. The tee boxes weren’t level, but playable. Fairways were a mixed bag, mostly good. Rough was pretty thick and penal in most areas. Traps were not good, no sand, rocks everywhere. Greens were the best part, they were on the slow side, but rolled true, with minimal ball marks.
Both courses at River Ridge have good layouts. We enjoyed our round and felt it was definitely worth the hot deal price.
very good course, needs some loving care
great course that appears to have had some hard times, but may be on its way back. Prior reviews told be the bunkers were horribly, they were. But the greens and fairways were great!. Fairways need some weed redaication but did no effect paln. Value for money, great pace, no one ahead of us, never pushed from behind, this was a Tuesday. Staff was great, food and Drink very good. Facillities need a refresh. Greens are slow, but with wind and slope they would be unputtable if the stimp meter was up to 12. But overall the Vineyard course was well worth the cost, will return.
We played the Vineyard course with a 2:51 tee time. We were finishing Hole 14 at about 5:30. We were approached by staff who advised he was off at 6:30 so he had locked the gate and we could not play Holes 15-18. I was surprised by this information considering we could have finished well before dusk.

Staff was cordial and friendly, the tee boxes and greens were in excellent condition, 16 of the 18 fairways were in excellent condition with two in good condition, overall I would rate the course a4 1/2 out of 5 stars and the entire staff

Needs so work
Used to play there a lot. Pace of play was terrible and most of the bunkers were like concrete our golf cart was having power issues. I like the course it just needs some TLC and moreMarshall's. .
Speedy round for a Friday!
I was a single with a noon tee time. Nobody in front, nobody behind me…so rare for a California course in 75° weather! I hit and played my original ball, but had time to practice along the way. Finished in 3.5 hours, which is about 90 minutes sooner than expected.
Good for the money
Great course for the money.
Can get extremely backed up on weekends. Be prepared for 5.5 hour rounds
