Golfer Reviews
Course was in pretty good shape
Got some long par 4s
Nice island green finish
Funny looking robots on the course never have seen that stuff before
Enjoy RR , I’ll come back
Fun Course
Nice long course. Greens were in
nice condition. Driving range is getting "Much Needed construction"!
I will be back
Concrete bunkers!
Tee Boxes, fairways and greens were acceptable but the bunkers still no sand,
I don't how anyone can hit a ball of the the mud/ dirt mix on all of the bunkers. I wish I know someone from the City that would look at how much money RR is losing everyday primarily due to the bunkers and the high green fees . I would not mind paying there green fees if the course was in great shape
but its one step above a cow pasture as far as I am concerned I noticed the robots mowing the fairways I think it would have been a better investment to put it into sand !!!!!
Try it!
Great course. They have 2 courses here being the vineyard and lake courses. Both are unique in their own way. Weather is awesome and ocean breeze cools your round on a hot day
Greens were rolling beautifully
Played here a handful of times throughout many years. Vineyard course was in great shape. Greens were rolling really nicely. My son and I had a blast. Definitely worth the drive from North Hollywood and the marine layer made the round super enjoyable. Can’t wait to play again.
Great value for the dollar just
Stay out of the bunkers. There hasn’t been sand in them since Jack won his last Masters! Otherwise great course with diabolical greens and wide fairways and little rough.
Worth the Hot Deal
Played Saturday at noon, group in front of us was late so we went off at 1150, finished in 4.5 hours, which is great for a Saturday afternoon. The tee boxes weren’t level, but playable. Fairways were a mixed bag, mostly good. Rough was pretty thick and penal in most areas. Traps were not good, no sand, rocks everywhere. Greens were the best part, they were on the slow side, but rolled true, with minimal ball marks.
Both courses at River Ridge have good layouts. We enjoyed our round and felt it was definitely worth the hot deal price.
very good course, needs some loving care
great course that appears to have had some hard times, but may be on its way back. Prior reviews told be the bunkers were horribly, they were. But the greens and fairways were great!. Fairways need some weed redaication but did no effect paln. Value for money, great pace, no one ahead of us, never pushed from behind, this was a Tuesday. Staff was great, food and Drink very good. Facillities need a refresh. Greens are slow, but with wind and slope they would be unputtable if the stimp meter was up to 12. But overall the Vineyard course was well worth the cost, will return.
