River Ridge Golf Club - The Vineyard Course

We paid full price for a terrible course. The greens were punched and sanded. No body gave us notice until the starter did. Courses should be obligated to let golf now know of these conditions. Hole 18 was under repair and they made a temporary green 55yds from the tee box, it was actually the front tees where the green was. The course was not maintained well.

I like this course; however, I believe they should discount the green fees after the greens are aerated

First time playing the course. The terrain of the course means you are rarely playing on a flat lie and the greens undulation is very challenging. Even in wet conditions it was impossible to get anything to stick on the greens. I think the greens keeper was having some fun with the pin placements because it was impossible to get anything within 20 feet on approach shots.

Great overall track, wind comes in to play on the whole course. A few long (450 yard) par 4s that were challenging. The front nine is more interesting than the back nine which becomes a bit boring - flatter, OB due to houses, although 18 green was being worked on and we ended with a 78 yard par 3 to a temporary green. I think the Vineyard course is harder than Lakes but less interesting. 3 handicap, shot 77 from the blues, 10 mph wind otherwise good conditions.

Course was in decent condition from the weather yesterday and wasn’t too congested.

First 12 holes pretty rough and ragged but greens were good. 13-17 beautiful in great shape. 18 par 3 closed but we weren’t aware until we got to the tee box…temporary tee box and funky green 75 yards away.

Great layout but they need to finished repairing the 18th hole island green. At the moment you’re basically playing 17 holes. The 18th is 70 yard temp green🤯

Course was in pretty good condition except for hole 18 can not understand why it is taking so long to fix such a simple bridge

Won’t play there again until it’s fixed

Booked Sat night for a 6:36am tee time on Sunday. Play here a few times each month. Was nicely paced today (Under 4 hours).. Still waiting for them to repair the bridge to 18 green.. They should not charge full retail for 17 holes..

This was a great buy for two golfers to play, but they didn’t mention anything about where to buy range balls so when we went to check in at the starter, he told us we had to go back into the pro shop to buy balls. We didn’t go back. Also, they didn’t mention anything that the 18th hole was closed so technically we only played 17 holes. The condition of the course was not very good a lot of bare spots dirt and the grass was very lumpy. I would recommend it to a friend only if they were able to get a deal on the round but not at regular Price.

Still don't have the bridge to 18th green repaired. Needs maintenance on most holes. Fairways very needs more grass. Lots of bare spots

Conditions were nice in the fairways with some bare spots on the edges

Hole 18 had no drama with the bridge being broken

6-8 weeks seems like a long time to fix such a simple structure

I found the bunkers were very much different from one to another, some had sand others no sand and hard pan. I also saw large rocks in a bunker, why ?

Bunkers are supposed to be sand not rocks and not hard pan time to up grade the bunkers to be consistent
