Nice cars, love the lakes grass could’ve been a little tighter other than that very nice

Played 18 holes on a Wednesday afternoon by myself. Got the Tee time via Teeoff @ a great rate..played the Lakes course this day. Fun layout, and course is in god shape. Greens are a bit slower than I'm used to but they roll true. Great day, thanks!

We played and understood the greens had been punched last week and that was ok

however my big concern is the bunkers

and all of the bunkers in which had landed had no more than 1/2 " of sand in most of the areas. Then my second concern is the gravel in some of the bunkers Why????

It is really hard to play out of them when there is no sand the club can not go under the ball

for a sand shot !!!

Highly demanding off the tee and can play long from the tips. Greens were in great shape, rolled true but not absurdly fast. If the wind is blowing it becomes a real test with all the water. This can be a serious course, will test your game.

Badly kept course lacking water ..used to be a good course but has gown downhill

Twilight afternoon tee times. Wind was howling!!! At least a consistent 20mph most of the day, gusting more at times. Made it very difficult, and slow going of course. Waited on every shot every hole for the front 9. Picked up here and there on the back, the wind didn’t really go away until almost sunset.

Course needs work. It just felt like the whole course needs rolling, as in, everything is bumpy, from the tee box, fairway grass and the greens. They punched the rough and used the thick bore, and they left all the dug up mud bullets all over the place so you had to move it around away from those as well the holes!!! Either way, the greens need rolling and flattening, they were so bumpy with extra growth on them. I will forgive them for today as it was windy so if the greens were quick it would have been nearly impossible. They were firm enough to get a bounce but definitely on the slow side putting.

I just wish the place would get back to being as good as it used to be a decade ago. It’s such a shame what’s happened to the place, looking kinda run down, including the club house.

The range is a mess. The mats are laid out on the sand, as the range has no grass. It’s looked in disrepair for god knows how long now.

What’s happened to the place. Please get it back to the good quality it used to be

Beautiful day. Course is decent for the money. Some of the views are spectacular. Greens are pretty bumpy. Tee boxes seem to be the same as the fairways, ie ok but not manicured. When I finished just before 6 the cafe was closed so couldnt get a beer.

I was a single sandwiched between foursomes. I had to wait about 5 to 10 minutes on every teebox and on the fairway as well. The round took 4 1/2 hours.
