If you are like me, I really like greens that are in good condition more than anything else. The greens at River Oaks are a little slow, but the putt nice and true. Fun course to play. Give it a try.

River Oaks is in great condition! Fairways, tee boxes and greens are all in great shape. We got lucky and had no one in front of us all round. Finished in 3 hours. Nice layout.

Good course

River Oaks is a good course for less than single handicappers. Not many trees or bunkers and fairly wide fairways makes it a fun track. Can play it in 3 to 3 and a half hours.

Great Course, hidden gem

This course has taken a lot of time to be where it is now. Nice fairways & plush greens. Bunkers are playable. A number of water hazards. Staff are pleasant. Greens staff work hard on this place. Look forward to my return. It can play long too which I like that challenge it provides.
