Yucaipa Valley Golf Club

Horrible experience at Yucaipa Golf course. Took my girlfriend to the course just to watch and only one bag on the cart. They charged me for one player only. I get to the starter he looks at my receipt and says I have to pay for my girlfriend even though she's a spectator just watching and it's the full price even though she's a spectator. You gotta be kidding me. They need to paste the policy prior to paying and the starter needs to be aware of the policies. I was stuck paying for her full price even though she doesn't know how to play. I paid because I had already made a very long drive to Yucaipa which use to be one of my favorite courses. Last time I play there.

I can’t believe how horrible the service is here!!! I booked a 10:30 tee time for me and 3 of my buddies today. I bring my girlfriend along because it was one of my friends first time in California and I wanted her to meet him. I had no issues prior to teeing off. Payed for myself and got a bucket of range balls. I get my name called to tee off so I pull up to hole 1 early. And this is where it all goes downhill. I get greeted by the starter. He then tells me that I can not have any spectators as this is their policy. And that I must go inside and pay an additional tee time for my girlfriend. Who mind you is in sandals has no golf clubs and couldn’t hit a ball to save her life. So I go inside to pay. Bite the bullet. Am I frustrated? YES! But I can’t let this ruin my time with my friend I haven’t seen in years. So I then come back to hole 1 after paying only to get confronted again by the starter who asks to see proof of payment TWICE!!!!! Almost as if he doesn’t believe me! Whatever….. so I go to tee up with my original group only to get bothered by the starter again!!!!! He now tells me that I can’t play with my group and I need to play as a twosome with my gf who doesn’t golf to keep pace of play up. Mind you there are tee times behind my original group. This makes no sense I don’t understand how splitting up a 4 some into a 3 some and a single speeds up pace of play. Frustration gets the best of me once I hit hole 4. I see a 6 some playing ahead of me all with their gf’s that don’t have golf bags. So I asked them did you guys have to pay for your gf’s to play? They all laugh in confusion. And tell me no bro! They just let us on! I continue my round only to run into 3 more groups of people that all have 3 carts and all have more than 4 players in a group. I take pictures and bring it to the pro shops attention. At this point I’m asking for a refund. I go thru 6 different employees and all of them just keep passing me off to the next person. Only to leave me where I’m at now. Down 140$ for a single tee time at a horribly kept course with rock filled hard pan bunkers divot filled sloped tee boxes. Greens with diseases and a starter and management staff that doesn’t know anything about customer service. I wouldn’t return back to this course even if it was free. The service is horrible the maintenance of the course is horrible and to be fair a 60$ tee time here is way over priced. I’m a 2 handicap have been golfing for 2 years now and I’ve never experienced something like this. If your still reading this. I URGE YOU DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! All I want was a refund and they couldn’t even do that for me. So sad.

Most bunkers could use an overhaul. Would have given 5 stars for course conditions except for the bunkers

Overall the course conditions is good to great. Greens could be alittle faster, but very playable. Haven’t played here in over a decade, but will start coming out here more. Played as a single, and had 5 groups let me pass making a short pace of play. Thank you

The nice course and best condition than other courses at a similar price.

Always enjoy the course & most of the time the pace is just right.

Played this course a couple of times. Worth the drive from Hemet. Tree line course with elevation changes. Course has green grass fairways. Which is not always the case on modest priced courses. Greens nice. A little slow. Very fun course with nice clubhouse.
