About
Nestled in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, Yucaipa Valley Golf Club enjoys a stunning backdrop on most of its holes. The beautifully maintained course is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Yucaipa Valley offers the unique combination of being both challenging and affordable, for this reason it's a local favorite. The layout is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. It's not terribly formidable but the greens can be challenging because of the slope and speed. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and the occasional water hazard comes into play. The 13th is the signature hole at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. This tricky par 3 has a severely undulating green bordered by out-of-bounds on the right and water on the left.

Nice Course
Played this course a couple of times. Worth the drive from Hemet. Tree line course with elevation changes. Course has green grass fairways. Which is not always the case on modest priced courses. Greens nice. A little slow. Very fun course with nice clubhouse.

Greens Aeration
All the greens are under aeration at the moment. I wasn’t aware prior to booking but was notified upon check in with the club house. They did give me the option to cancel and receive a full refund, which I appreciated but was too in the mood to play. The overall course is in good condition. Best value for your money in the Inland Empire by far! Food is above average and the drinks are strong. I always enjoyed this course layout.
I apologize for you not being aware of our maintanence. We hope you give us another chance now that the greens have healed.

Nice layout in good general condition
This course is fairly well maintained tee to green. That being said the following observations apply to this course: 1) Golfers are not fixing ball marks and greens are very pock-marked. 2) Bunkers have lots of rocks in them and the sand is not of consistent depth.

It's been nearly 20 years since playing this course. I decided to try it out based on a recommendation from some guys I met on a different course. I couldn't have been more pleased. Greens and fairways were in great shape. Bunkers were decent, although a couple could use a little refill. Only main area for improvement is that they are in need of changing out their range balls. A significant number of balls were badly damaged and/or worn that they need to be tossed. Will definitely play again.

Great course
Nice layout overall. A couple of the fairways had roped off sections where I assume sprinklers had broken and had gotten muddied up. Good variation in slopes and angles on approach. Fun par threes over water hazards. I would definitely come back and play another round. We had a great time.

Green conditions
Greens are excellent except the uneven color…makes it difficult to read

Bunkers
It appears the bunkers don’t drain properly making the surface really hard
