About
Nestled in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, Yucaipa Valley Golf Club enjoys a stunning backdrop on most of its holes. The beautifully maintained course is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Yucaipa Valley offers the unique combination of being both challenging and affordable, for this reason it's a local favorite. The layout is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. It's not terribly formidable but the greens can be challenging because of the slope and speed. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and the occasional water hazard comes into play. The 13th is the signature hole at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. This tricky par 3 has a severely undulating green bordered by out-of-bounds on the right and water on the left.

Golfer Reviews
Average course and customer service
Walked in at 11:30 and set a tee time for 12:30, so for an hour or so i hit a bucket of balls and waited for my tee time. 12:30 came around and didnt get my cart, so i went inside and was assured my cart would be brought to me and just wait outside. Another 15-20 minutes pass and nothing. I found the marshall and he got me a cart after another 10 minutes or so. As i tee off he comes back and asked if i would be willing to pair up with two others and i said sure. Besides that, the course isnt too bad, some greens are good, some not maintained too well. Finished in about 4 hours.
Pace of Play Very Slow
Have played this course before and the pace of play is always slow. We were 2 hours and 40 minutes for nine holes today. Took an hour to play the first 3 holes. Not sure if they are over booking but management should try and find a solution to the problem. The traps are as hard as a rock and the greens do not hold.
Thank you for taking the time share your recent experience. We actually have some exciting new initiatives rolling out this month that will focus on improving pace on play and the overall customer experience. These initiatives include an increase to our tee time intervals, extended player assistance availability, and our new `Pace of Play Rewards` program. With this new program, golfers can earn rewards for actively achieving faster pace of play on the golf course. We believe these initiatives will make a huge difference in the quality of your experience at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club! We hope to see you again soon!
No sand
Direction between holes (between 9's and a few holes) need to be improved. Traps are not sand traps but waste bunkers with rocks and junk. Very few rakes around traps
YVGC Review
Challenging and fair. Course in good shape. Greens very nice. Very playable for all skill levels. Water on several holes. One complaint. It was cold the day we played. No hot chocolate in club house.
Nice new club house
Under 35.00 was a price that I liked. Our foursome enjoyed the course and we really like the new clubhouse. The food was great! We will be back.
go. play.
Over the past year management has been making steady improvements. New club house, driving range, putting green and general couse maintenance. They post specials on various sites. I suggest taking advantage of those specials. No gps but the carts are satisfactory.
bad service
Really crowded and slow no drink cart service and when I went in the clubhouse on the turn you have employees eating lunch behind counter and standing around but no one to take order. I live in yucaipa and I won't be back here anytime soon.
Good course but extremely crowded
We were here on a weekend morning, and had an 11 am tee time. We were at the course and warming up at 1030, but couldn't tee off until 1130. We were a a threesome and had to follow so many four and five person groups that we had only finished 14 holes by 4 when it was starting to get dark. Very frustrating.
Excellant course for the price
Pace of play was good, weather was very cold but
course held up
Never Again
This is the second time ive played this course or at least tried to. Arrived at 11:30am only to be met at check-in by customers demanding money back due to over booked and no carts. The last time I tried to play here, no carts available. So I asked for my money back, then the associate said well we're moving faster now.....I said then why is there still 6 people waiting to tee off?? After some words, I finally got my money back. Try spending some money on staff that can book tee times correctly and most of all......BUY CARTS!!
Disappointed on tee to green condition
It had just rained the night before but not hard enough for the course to be THAT muddy. Greens were good, as usual, but the lies on the rest of the course we're poor. No sand in the bunkers. The tee boxes on the par 3's were terrible. Not level, gouged up with divots. The new clubhouse is very nice. Why did it take so long to get that built? Food was below average in quality and freshness. The staff was hot and cold. One was very nice and accommodating the other gal was a bit snippy. Front nine moved fairly well. On 10 we ran into two fivesomes ahead of us that we're very slow. Why would someone walk that slowly off the green on every hole? They don't walk that slowly down the street? Maybe they were zombie golfers. That's how slowly they walked. No Marshall or roving beverage cart here. You are on your own.
this course has been improve a lot
Dress code need to be enforce. The fairways are too wet and muddy, the pace is too slow no Marshall go around the course on weekend.
Good course but...
The new clubhouse is really nice and a great step up from the old one. The course was in good conditions but the fairways were to wet. I even plugged my drive into fairway and couldn't find it for about 10 min. We were also backed up about 3 groups at one point. The greens were faster then usual and dry, which is weird since the fairways were soaked. Overall its a good course but conditions need to be more consistent.
not so great
very slow play, fivesomes, no marshall around when you need him, they check your receipt at the 1st tee, check your name to make sure you paid after giving you a key for your cart? the starter will hold you to the minute of your tee time, even if course is wide open. very soggy around greens, you can barely stand on it. one good thing you get to know the other groups at the tee box while waiting 15 minutes at each hole. all in all I'm not sure they want me to come back?
unlike any other, but not it a good way
never seen a course where you can play both golf and soccer golf at the same time. weird and not a place where I will play again. there was no Marshall around so people are cutting from one hole to another, we saw this at least 3 times for the first 9 holes. the soccer thing thou does not go well with golf, I love soccer but they don't go together well.
Very Good Layout and valuable course.
Nice fairway and green, a good experience for this round.
Would Play Again!
Course was in great condition. Greens very good. Would play once a week if possible.
