About
Nestled in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, Yucaipa Valley Golf Club enjoys a stunning backdrop on most of its holes. The beautifully maintained course is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Yucaipa Valley offers the unique combination of being both challenging and affordable, for this reason it's a local favorite. The layout is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. It's not terribly formidable but the greens can be challenging because of the slope and speed. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and the occasional water hazard comes into play. The 13th is the signature hole at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. This tricky par 3 has a severely undulating green bordered by out-of-bounds on the right and water on the left.

Golfer Reviews
The course is nice and green and has some water.
The course is fair for all types of golfers. The greens were a little slow and the pace of play on the back was slow. For the value a good deal.
Windy
Good course, easy to play for straight ball hitters. During my play it was getting windy which made draws and fade hard to hold. Well maintained and the staff was great.
I hope the stuff reads this
I hate to say this about the Yucaipa course. And my hope is that something positive will come of it. I understand the need to generate revenue, must be why they do soccer golf there. it wears on the course, and people drive carts were they shouldn't.
I also understand the water issue. We are struggling in California. But do the things you can do well. Like clean the restrooms. Put a pencil with the scorecard. Put seed in the container. Fix the broken ball washer on number five. Replace the tiles on the ball washers periodically so they don't stink. You have a beautiful clubhouse, and be amazing dining facility, but really, please just clean the restrooms.
Challenging but fair
Great course to play, the fairways are forgiving. Looking forward to playing again soon.
good round
course was wide open when we got theRe. Caught up to a few player's n it slowed down a bit, course was in good condition. Green were a bit slow signs of being punched recently.
Shoot Your Age
The reason why any golfer will like this course, is because of the PGA style large green. Most public greens are so small, you never have a chance of birdie or par, if you have a 50 foot putt, it least give you a chance, and there for you have a chance to shoot your age, and the greens are fair.
Outstanding Value Excellent Course
I booked my tee time thru GolfNow.com for less than $20.00 and to my amazement, the course was comparable to higher priced courses tha commands $35-45 tee time rates. The course layout was quite challenging with some difficult holes and quite a few easy ones. The greens were amazingly well kept. I'd play this course again and would recommend to any one who has not played this course. It just rained the day before, but the course held its own.
Thank you for comments regarding your recent experience at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. Our goal is to provide a value and experience that is unmatched in the Inland Empire. We appreciate you choosing Yucaipa Valley and look forward to seeing you again for another round very soon!
yucaipa has it all
Great course, out of the wind and exceptional mtn. views. Didn't lose a ball, very nice fairways.
Yucaipa is a beautiful community and we are happy to call it home! It is amazing how the course is sheltered from the Santa Ana winds that create havoc for the neighboring communities. Yucaipa Valley Golf Club is definitely your home for Great Golf Without the Wind! Thank you for your visit and comments. We look forward to hosting you again in the very near future!
Room For Improvement
Our 6:08 round began by getting to the course at 5:40 only to see they were not open yet. "Ashley" strolled in at about 5:58 and said she'd unlock the doors after she opened the registers. We were checked in at 6:06... they obviously do not want to make money on range balls nor food and beverage. The greens had been aerified the day after we made our reservation with no warning, so they were basically unputtable. This wouldn't have been bad had they not overwatered the fairways and kept them playing like a swamp.
All in all, not a great experience, but there is potential out there.
Rude
The girl who checked us in was really rude. She deleted our Tee time because we were 4 minutes late 10 to 15 minutes late I understand but 4 .. then she wanted to charge me again i had to show her my bank statement where I had already paid online are you kidding me and it still wasn't good enough . The manager was cool and took care if it but they really need a friendlier staff..
Thank you for your comment and feedback. I apologize for the misunderstanding regarding prepayment on your tee time. We take great pride in creating an environment of exceptional service and in this instance, we failed to meet that expectation. I hope that the remainder of your experience was up to par and that you will visit us again in the future.
Nice Course but Greens not cut.
The course was in good shape but we played at 11am and the greens were so slow. There were heads on the green so pretty sure they had not been cut in the last couple of days. If you like slow greens you'll love it. Not normal for this course in my experience.
Thank you for your comments and feedback from this past weekend`s round. The warm weather we have experienced in early spring sets the reproductive phase in motion for the poa annua in our greens complexes. To counteract this growth pattern, we execute a bi-monthly verticutting procedure that removes the seed heads and promotes the long term health of the turf. Our goal is to provide an exceptional playing experience throughout the year accompanied by some of the best greens in the Inland Empire. We hope to see you out at the course again soon!
NO GPS
Great improvement on the club house, but lost the GPS on the carts.
Good bang for your buck
The course is in good condition. The greens are challenging . The course is built through a subdivision
but the fairways are wide with trees throughout that make them somewhat challenging. Staff are friendly
Good value for your dollar. I would recommend playing this course.
Very Slow Play
This course gets a ton of play and is very slow. A big reason it's slow is they don't have enough carts. Many times, for an afternoon round, I have to wait 20-30 minutes past my tee time to get a cart as they are turning them from the morning rounds. It's not great, but the price sometimes justifies the play. Not challenging and very slow greens.
Interesting layout condition needs attention
Good pace of play, interesting variety of holes, poor
course condition although still in winter months, very
friendly staff, signature hole unfair with water next to
left of green , out of bounds 20 yards left of green.
Thank you for your review. Our new `Pace of Play Rewards` initiative has shown excellent results since being introduced in February. The average pace of play has improved by an average of 11 minutes per round! Spring fertilization executed this past week will dramatically enhance the turf density and coverage heading into warmer weather. I encourage you to stop by again soon!
New clubhouse
Course was in great condition as usual! Challenging but not too difficult! With the completion of their new clubhouse, it's definite getting nicer
Good Value
This is a fine golf course, with tricky greens but it needs a little TLC. The staff were more than friendly and this was a good experience. We enjoyed the day and the challenge and will be back.
Yucipa Valley GC
A friend of mine and I played this course yesterday. I found the course to be in outstanding condition, the fairways were green and nicely cared for, the greens were soft, sloped/rolling but the holes were place in very difficult positions. Overall the course was really nice. The pro shop is brand new and they are holding a grand opening for the banquet facilities are opening March 7th. We will definitely play there again soon.
Thank you for great feedback and we look forward to seeing you out on the course again soon. Our Grand Opening Celebration on March 7th will include a Demo Day event, Skills Challenge, and $1,000 Putting Contest among a host of other activities. I hope to see you in attendance!
Average course and customer service
Walked in at 11:30 and set a tee time for 12:30, so for an hour or so i hit a bucket of balls and waited for my tee time. 12:30 came around and didnt get my cart, so i went inside and was assured my cart would be brought to me and just wait outside. Another 15-20 minutes pass and nothing. I found the marshall and he got me a cart after another 10 minutes or so. As i tee off he comes back and asked if i would be willing to pair up with two others and i said sure. Besides that, the course isnt too bad, some greens are good, some not maintained too well. Finished in about 4 hours.
