About
Originally opened in 1923, Miami Beach golf club was given an $11 million face-lift and reopened in 2002. The result is a championship layout masterfully designed by world-renowned architect Arthur Hills. The course sits quietly nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay, minutes from South Beach and scores of world-class hotels, restaurants.
When you first play this course, you may think it has been designed exclusively for long hitters. Don't worry -- many holes are dogleg designs that allow you to bite off a good portion of the distance with good tee shots. Greens are well bunkered and elevated.
Several beautiful and strategically placed lakes enhance the charm of the course.
The once tired and under-utilized Bayshore has now become the elegant and highly regarded Miami Beach Golf Club.

Great course!
Played this course on a Monday and it was in great shape. The layout was nice, the course was pristine and the staff was excellent. They let me move up my tee time as a single when rain was expected in the afternoon. Had me paired w 2 guys but let me go out early as a single and I didn’t catch anyone until 15. 2.5 hour round on a great course! Was a little pricy but overall would def recommend.
Beautiful Layout/Great Conditions/Slow Play
Great course but many groups don’t understand how to keep pace and do not know what playing through means. Staff needs to manage this better. Otherwise great course.
Excellent Course; Ok Management/Staff
The course layout is great, and water is incorporated nicely without being overdone. Views from several teeboxes and fairways are quite scenic. The staff inside the pro shop were very helpful, but the starter and rangers seemed more interested in perfectly lining up carts than answering questions. Even with a discounted rate, the price was a bit steep for the experience. The biggest hinderance was the pace of play. There was a tournament with public tee times available immediately after its start. Our group waited a few minutes on nearly every shot. Making this known on GolfNow would have been helpful in deciding which tee time to book or whether to book one at all.
Nice track - and very convenient for south beach visitors. Course was in reasonably good condition - greens were ok but playing slightly slower than in January.
Pace of play was a problem, although I played midday on a Friday... we got stuck behind a group of six! Didn't appear to be any rangers out on the course to crack down on slow groups.
Overall - would recommend this course for any skill level.
Course is in good shape, nice layout, and the club is very convenient for Miami beach and the south beach area. But it's somewhat overpriced in the season - for non resident's.
First Timer
I loved this course, they had all the facilities for practice and putting restaurants and more. The course was in absolute immaculate shape, and I loved it. Would like to go back there and play many more times. My only concern was that it was quite expensive for an every day round of golf. But other than that, I would highly recommend it, and very friendly staff to boot
