Miami Beach Golf Club

Have played the course as a Miami resident 20yrs ago and also as a visitor. It is a nice course but the starters have let far too many tee times out, they must have tee times every 6mins. We had an early afternoon tee time for only 9 holes(no 9hole rates). The play was so slow that by the time we arrived at the 9hole tee box there was a group teeing off and then two other foursomes in front of our foursome. We skipped the hole and went home. Spoke w the starter and got a nonsensical answer. This club needs new mgt, I used to live on the beach and play there-it was never like this once.

I am very disappointed with the payment and the treatment of the club regarding the payment of my green fee. On October 2, I made a reservation for tee times at the Miami Beach Country Club through the Golf Now application and received a charge of 40 to my credit card. However, the golf club did not credit the $40 paid in advance of the total green fee of $231 (for residents). The golf club says that the Application cannot charge that amount and that Golf Now must make a credit for that amount.

I appreciate your management, otherwise I will reject the payment charged by Golf Now on my credit card.

Better than above average. Greens were recently aerated but still rolled well.

Had a great round with my best friend and the two gentlemen they paired us with. Staff was excellent and course is beautiful.

Played this course on a Monday and it was in great shape. The layout was nice, the course was pristine and the staff was excellent. They let me move up my tee time as a single when rain was expected in the afternoon. Had me paired w 2 guys but let me go out early as a single and I didn’t catch anyone until 15. 2.5 hour round on a great course! Was a little pricy but overall would def recommend.

Great course but many groups don’t understand how to keep pace and do not know what playing through means. Staff needs to manage this better. Otherwise great course.

The course layout is great, and water is incorporated nicely without being overdone. Views from several teeboxes and fairways are quite scenic. The staff inside the pro shop were very helpful, but the starter and rangers seemed more interested in perfectly lining up carts than answering questions. Even with a discounted rate, the price was a bit steep for the experience. The biggest hinderance was the pace of play. There was a tournament with public tee times available immediately after its start. Our group waited a few minutes on nearly every shot. Making this known on GolfNow would have been helpful in deciding which tee time to book or whether to book one at all.
