Disappointing Experience at Normandy Shores Golf Course
Our recent visit to Normandy Shores Golf Course left us feeling frustrated and disappointed. Unfortunately, we were not informed that the golf course was closed, and this lack of communication greatly impacted our experience.
Upon arrival, we were surprised to find out that the golf course was not operational. It was only then that one of the staff members from the pro shop mentioned that we needed to contact GolfNow for a refund. This revelation was quite frustrating, as we had made the trip specifically to play at Normandy Shores.
The miscommunication between Normandy Shores and GolfNow was evident and left us feeling let down by both parties. It would have been greatly appreciated if we had been informed in advance about the closure, allowing us to make alternative arrangements or reschedule our tee time.
As avid golfers, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, resulting in temporary closures. However, it is the responsibility of the golf course and booking platform to keep customers informed about any changes or issues affecting their reservations.
We hope that Normandy Shores and GolfNow can address this miscommunication and improve their coordination in the future. Clear communication is essential to provide a positive customer experience and avoid cases like ours, where disappointment and inconvenience overshadowed our visit.
Our experience at Normandy Shores Golf Course was marred by the lack of information and miscommunication regarding the closure. We sincerely hope that steps will be taken to prevent such incidents from happening again, ensuring a more enjoyable and hassle-free experience for all golf enthusiasts.
Overall great place, but wish the range would open earlier. Range opens at 9am, so if your tee time is before that then you won’t be able to warm up.
Great value
The course is very well maintained, the greens are excellent. A great value for money.
The only thing we had grounds Keeper with a water hose stretched across the green sort of interfering with the game. Other than that it was great.
Crowded and unpoliced
There were 3 groups per home + two younger gentleman passed us without asking as we assumed they were part of another group but they were just rude and slow. We finally quit at 6th hole as next Teo had three groups in line and few hikes ahead had two at each.
Horrible pace
1:45 tee time and only finished 16 holes. (Sun sets at 620)
