About
Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

Too many ball marks on greens!
I love this course except why don’t golfers repair their ball marks? Almost every green is riddled with deep ball marks! I always have my ball mark tool in my pocket. I fix at least one ball mark per green even if it isn’t mine! On this course I repaired almost five per green. And there were lots more than that. It is a shame.
Awesome course atmosphere and layout! Almost felt like playing a course in Orlando. Tall dense trees and under brush line fairly narrow fairways made it picturesque on every hole.17 derserves praise for difficulty but being an exciting reachable par 5. Definite play again.
Mud tracks on greens
Rest of course was excellent but for some reason there was dried mud and mower tracks all over nearly every green. Had to clean for every putt.
Great Course Hidden Away
This course is a nice secluded course near the Sacramento Airport. But you would not know you were next to it. I could not see the airport even though it was next door, and airplane noise was not an issue. The course itself has very mature trees lining the fairways to keep you "honest" and great use of sand traps and water features to scare you into laying up. Lol. Would golf here again!!
Really nice established course
Teal Bend is a well laid out course that's in great shape and fun to play. I really liked how most of the fairways were lined with mature trees, and the bunker sand was soft and challenging to get out of.
I would definitely play Teal Bend again.
Fun Course to play
We had a good time. The staff and other players were very friendly. Course was in nice condition as well. Very pretty. A couple of the negatives. Don't forget mosquito spray I can't emphasize that enough. If you have a tough time keeping the ball in the fairway this is a tough course. It can be tight to play. I had many lost balls but overall I would recommend. It's one of the better courses around.
Good Greens
Course is in good shape, and the greens are rolling true. Keep it in the fairway and you will be fine.
