Teal Bend Golf Club
About
Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

Love this course--too many ball marks
I always love this course and layout. Each hole is by itself surrounded by trees. The course overall is in decent shape, but I could not get over how many ball marks show up on the greens that were not repaired in the past. This course does not get an excessive amount of play compared to the busier muni courses in town, but the muni courses have nicer looking greens. I think because this is a pure daily fee course, with no player membership programs, the golfers who play this course don't care--no "ownership" interest. It's a shame for such a nice layout to play.
hot hot hot
except for the hot weather could not have been a more perfect day to play some golf. the hottest day that i've played golf this year. otherwise just great conditions for playing a beautifully maintained course. hope to play it more often.
Teal Bend Review
Teal Bend was as good as always, one of the best public courses in our area. Play was at a good pace and the course was in great shape.
Hidden Sac Gem
We live in the East Bay, but still make sure to drive up and play here when we can. From tee to green the course always is in very good shape. What we like best is that every hole is it’s own separate event as none run together and it is necessary to travel through the thick trees to get to the next tee. The layout is challenging but not tricked out.
We played in a little over 4 hours on an early Friday afternoon.
Highly suggest you give Teal Brnd a try.
Nice round
Met up with a twosome, we weee all about the same age and had a nice round. Course is in pretty good shape, greens were a little slow and inconsistent. Always a joy to play Teal it’s been on my rotation for a long time.
Nice course- way overpriced
Teal is always a good change to Sac courses but the price has become way out of proportion with the value.
From the bugs to rough fairways, it is not a $75 round course.
Top choice
Environment beautiful, no houses. Always challenging and interesting.
Too many ball marks on greens!
I love this course except why don’t golfers repair their ball marks? Almost every green is riddled with deep ball marks! I always have my ball mark tool in my pocket. I fix at least one ball mark per green even if it isn’t mine! On this course I repaired almost five per green. And there were lots more than that. It is a shame.
Awesome course atmosphere and layout! Almost felt like playing a course in Orlando. Tall dense trees and under brush line fairly narrow fairways made it picturesque on every hole.17 derserves praise for difficulty but being an exciting reachable par 5. Definite play again.
Mud tracks on greens
Rest of course was excellent but for some reason there was dried mud and mower tracks all over nearly every green. Had to clean for every putt.
Great Course Hidden Away
This course is a nice secluded course near the Sacramento Airport. But you would not know you were next to it. I could not see the airport even though it was next door, and airplane noise was not an issue. The course itself has very mature trees lining the fairways to keep you "honest" and great use of sand traps and water features to scare you into laying up. Lol. Would golf here again!!
