Teal Bend Golf Club

Course is in great shape, set up is hard but playable and greens is in excellent condition. Other thing is due to the hard wind’s the course played longer then usual. But anytime you can play golf during a work day stop complaining and enjoy it.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COURSE!

Well I have played this course with friends three times and have be unable to get past 15 before loss of light. Finally got through them all today just holed 18 at twilight. This course has become one of my favorite.

This course setup up great, the bunkers are in much better condition. Staff extremely friendly. My buddies and I will be back

Love this course, many different tee boxes allows you to play it as a short course or very long from Blue and black tree boxes . The greens were well maintained and very fast. Great value for the money spent.

Everything about this place is nice. They need Marshals as we waited on the golfers in front - a 5some no less!!! for almost every hole. These guys were smoking up, playing from the back tees & should have been playing from the Ladies tee at best.

Course was in excellent condition. Great driving holes with wide fairways and minimal rough. From the combined blue/white it was 6000 yards. Holes were interesting...some drivable par 4's and 2 shot par 5's. Greens rolled true and were receptive to approach shots. Kudos tothe groundskeeper. Weather was windless 70 degree. At the price I paid, it was a no brainer...but this is worth it at a higher price. Between the airport and the river...convenient, well-maintained, fun layout. I'd play it again. 4 hour round, noon, mid-week. Helps that I played well. The only thing missing was on course hospitality. A cart girl wouldn't have hurt the round at all.

Teeing off at 7:30, the last Saturday before Daylight Savings time starts means you will have the sun in your eyes on a couple of holes. The course was in great shape,with no wet spots or dried areas. A few trees were taken out at one of the par 3’s and it gives the hole a new look.

If you haven’t had the chance to play this course it is worth your time. Great staff and fun course.

Good layout, no houses just woods, incl deer and turkeys ... in excellent condition !!

This is a fine course that my friends and I have played often and always enjoyed for its beauty and its challenges. Unfortunately, the last time out the many of the sand traps were filled with standing water. If you put a ball there, you lost it because it was deep in murky water unless you waded in with a rake. We lost more than a few. Didn't have a chance to mention it to the clubhouse but hopefully they'll see the review and correct it. Otherwise, this is a very good course and this hopefully was a one-time problem.

being from out of state, i decided to rent their club set for the round. Was excited to tee off, but as soon as i pulled off the head cover off the driver, i noticed that it had a little dried up dirt in it.... no biggie, I’ll just wipe it off. But upon checking the irons, i was pretty upset to see that it weee all crusted up from previous round’s play. Tried to wipe them off with an old towel i had but it couldn’t do the job. Didn’t have a wire brush to scrape the iron face so i ended up using my plastic tee to pick at the grooves. Needless to say, i was thoroughly annoyed with having to play with a set of dirty irons that i paid for with my hard earned money. Wouldn’t recommend renting clubs from here. Other than that, the course was okay and the pace of play was horrendous. Had to join a senior couple as a solo because playing through wouldn’t had done me any good. Even then, we were still waiting on rhe group ahead of us.

This was the first time I’ve played this course. l was very satisfied with the course. There are lots of dog let holes, so ball placement is key on several of the holes. The greens are bentgrass and so they are very receptive. Because the greens are bentgrass and receptive to shots, there are LOTS of ball marks on the greens. My biggest complaint is that all the greens need attention from prior ball marks and golfers not repairing their ball marks correctly. I repaired at least three or four ball marks on every green and it did not make a difference at all. The greens is littered with non-repaired ball marks and spots where ball marks were not repaired and not just bare dirt is showing.

The driving range is nice because it is all grass and you do not have to hit off of mats, but the brass was quite sparse and thin so it felt like I was hitting off a mat.

The snack bar does not have any cold bottled drinks. The only cold soda pop drinks are from the soda fountain. I was amazed they did not have any cold bottled soda pop drinks for people to buy and take with them in their golf cart.

The fairways are lush and nice. The wort part of the course are the greens and all the non-repaired ball marks.

Overall, however, I liked the course. It was challenging and fun. The staff is very friendly. If I am ever in the Sacramento area again, I would play this course again.

Nice touch to bring you a cart to your car. Yardage markers not the easiest to find. Modest club house. No beverage cart. Only a few water cans along holes.
