About
Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

Teal Bend Golf Course
The course was in fairly good shape except for some of the teeing area being bare and finding an area to tee up your ball was a challenge. Many holes’ fairway landing area were full of unsanded divots. The greens were running fast and true.
Kept coming back for more
I was in town for a couple of weeks on business and ended up playing this course four times! Couldn't get enough of the tricky greens. Good practice greens/range. Great staff. The food at the grill was really good, and they offer to bring it out to you if it's not ready in time at the turn. Even though it was winter conditions, the greens were in great shape and the bunkers had consistent sand. Just had to do a little lift clean and place in the fairways is all. No one else in my company plays, so I usually get matched up with people. Met some very nice people here in Sacramento. Had a great time.

Course is typically nice. The pace of play has always been extremely slow. 3 out of the 5 times I’ve played here it has been a 6 hour round.
Teal bend pleasant as always
I played on a Friday, pace was great! Teal bend usually always delivers a friendly professional environment, and the coarse offers a unique experience with each hole feeling isolated from one another, in combination with it's location it provides a unique quiet experience not to be taken for granted.
fast greens, layout was challenging but playable. Out of bounds difficult for ball recovery

Even in the winter months it’s always a great course to play and rates are well worth the price compared to others in the greater Sacramento area.
Great course, but some conditions are beginning to need some help
I love this place. Staff is awesome, grass range, a couple practice greens & a practice bunker too. Enjoy the layout & the challenge they provide. It's always had great conditions. But heads up. Lately some of the fairways (patchy) & bunkers (dirt) need help. Obviously w/ winter setting in soon we can't expect the best conditions, but I've noticed this over time when in the past it's been almost pristine and why I would always return. Although I miss the conditions they had in the past, I can't wait to play again.
Nice course layout
I play Teal 3-4 times per year. Always enjoy playing the course. The right a challenge level for fun round of golf. The fairway are generous. However, if you miss the fairway, just tee another ball because you are unlikely to find a lost ball in the hazards. The par 3 greens are large.
Fun course highly recommended.

enjoyable round, but large tournament with 5.5 hour rounds backed up our start by 30 min
Course in good condition, good well kept greens, permeating urine smell in the fairways and around greens from deer mitigation we presumed. cafe was overloaded from serving tournament. no joy. no carts available before tee time and tee time backed up 30 min-
big back up at first tee- after tournament finished made the round unfinished.
Always a great course to play
Played here numerous times & always find it a great place to practice & play. This time the greens were very true. Rolled directly on line. Excellent speed, soft from watering, but still a bit fast. Just right. Great lie in the fairways. Didn't hit any traps this time, but some were a bit hard (the 4 stars) although raked (for appearence?). Need some more sand in those. Love it here & will be back.

You are in the middle of farmland and you would never know. Great layout and challenging. Don't spray the ball or you will be in dense foliage.

Would definitely play Teal Bend over others I played in the area.
