About
Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

Best course during our wettest winter
One of only a few courses in northern California that drains so well, we rode carts on the course just a few days after heavy rains. And it is a very good course with challenges and some easier holes. Will play it more often.
Great staff
I had booked 2 different tee times and then cancelled 1 and a few hours later rebooked another tee time they were very accommodating making it work for me. Golf Now was also very helpful by calling the course to make sure the course was on board with the changes. Thank you both
Playable Trail In Teal Bend
Played after the harsh rains, course held its own. Greens were good and fast, some front pins impossible to keep on green. Fairways were fine considering rains, course drains well. Would be among first choices to play after rains like these, Teal Bend holds true to its word as the best draining course in Sac. Wonderful Bermuda surfaces on tee boxes, fairways; greens were not bermuda but were rye or a type of seasonal bentgrass. Some holes felt like being in Palm Springs with the dormant bermuda and green grass greens. We play here once every few months, and this would be a perfect home course if I lived closer. So much good golf in Sac, but this one is the most playable after rain.
Excellent conditions
For it to be winter time previous Raines this week, did not keep this course from Being in excellent condition. The greens were rolling true and fast. The pace of play was fantastic. I have never known this course not to be in excellent condition.
Cold
Great conditions, greens FAST and true. But they couldn't help with how cold it was. Haha

Poor customer service
Upon arriving we had the hot deals from golf now. We ask if we could go out early since the course was empty and the staff treated us poorly because we had a great deal versus just saying the could not. Really left a bad taste in our mouth and the restaurant was no better spending more time or their cell phones them customers
Fall colors and great course
This course has a great layout and the GolfNow hotdeal made it incredible. This course is a tactical course that is fun to navigate. The front 9 pace was right on, the back 9 took an extra 30 min. The course was in good shape, although the greens were a little rough.
Recommended.

Great course; fun to play
medium difficulty course. well maintained
Interesting variety of holes and challenges. Probably not much of a challenge for really good golfers. Course and greens in excellent condition. Fairly wide fairways. Greens fairly flat in most places. Lots of Bunkers
Course layout is great
Had a great day of golf with one of my friends that had never played there before! The pace got a little slow, but it was very challenging !!! The greens were immaculate and very fast!!

Good conditions
I thought the course was in excellent shape for having to deal with the drought conditions. The greens were like pillows they were so receptive. Perhaps a few bucks overpriced, but this was a nice track. I would recommend for anyone looking to golf in the Sacramento area.

Incredible time
This was our first time playing and coming from Reno it was definitely worth the drive. Course was in great condition, we teed off at 1:00 and were pulling off the 18th green by 4:15. Great pace of play. Already working on arranging another trip down from Reno to play Teal Bend and maybe another course in the area.

Beal is not my cup of tea
I play Beal once in a while: I'll forget how forgettably uninteresting this course is, and then I'll play it again. My memory is getting worse as I grow older. The course was in very good shape, except for the greens, and that's because so many of its patrons do not fix ball marks. The course itself is boring; there may 3 holes which provoke any thought and make you say, "Well, this is an interesting hole." It's located in a flat section of land between the river and the airport, and all that lack of contour just saps my enjoyment.

This coarse is on the verge of being excellent coarse
I would like to see the pace of play, there were no Marshalls on the coarse to help with the pace of play!!!

Beautiful day, beautiful golf course. Unfortunately no notice that I would be following a tournament.
Having to wait on every shot ruined a really nice day. Sorry Teal Bend, but it could have been a really good review had you been forthcoming with the info regarding pace of play.

Good track
Teal Bend is a well laid out course that is fun to play. Sometimes it's condition is questionable, however, yesterday it was in good shape.
