Teal Bend Golf Club
About
Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

Good To Play This Coursr Again
First time back to this course in a long time and had a blast. Greens had just been aerated but played good. Booked our round on GolfNow and it was my wife's first time playing here. The setting is awesome and the course is challenging. Can't wait to come back.
Don't miss this course
Teal Bend is one of my favorite courses in the Sacramento area. I drive over an hour to play there and it is worth it! There is great pride exhibited in the condition of the course, by the staff and in every other way. The only exceptions are the bunkers. The sand is impacted and difficult to handle.
The restaurant is not exactly 5 star, but it is certainly adequate following a round of golf.
Too many twosome playing It would be nice if they could pair them up
I would like to see the starter send out foursome instead of a lot of twosome . I counted seven sets of twosome and that make it s long day . :-(
challenging/fun
Enjoy Teal bend every time I play. Very easy to make a good shot that goes OB or lost ball.
Great par 5's
I'd play this course over and over again and with guys and gals. The course is in great shape and the staff were all excellent. I kinda miss the GPS system they use to have on the carts but didn't affect my game one bit. The fairways are generous but missed shots will cost ya.
Nice and long
No houses. Go for it. Greens are great. Fairways wide open. Good challenge.
Greens were great
The course was in great conditions the greens world perfect and we are absolutely in great condition as well If I would've booked on golf now.com I would've thought it was real pricey
Mosquitoes
Course in great shape and fun to play, but mosquitos take fun out of it.
Nice course, Good value
We played under extremely hot weather, but the course was in very good condition. We finished in 3 Hrs. Pro Shop staff was very friendly and courteous.
Kudos to grounds keeper and friendly staff
Course was in very good shape especially given hot weather and drought. Really plush fairways and greens were best in town. Tough but interesting pin placements.
Great layout
I very much enjoyed the course , will play again
and bring wife TOO!! Bring spray for mosquites
Don't Miss the Opportunity
My wife and I played on Monday (Memorial Day Weekend) on the way home to Reno from Sonoma. I had played Teal Bend 2 weeks ago for the first time and told my wife we had to play it en route home. She loved it as much as I. Great course; playable yet challenging. Wish I lived closer. Don't miss the chance to play it if available.
Teal Bend is gorgeus!
My golf partner and I were very pleasantly surprised with the facilities here. The course is absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. Staff is fantastic! I recommend this course!
beautiful course layout
Course was beautiful. Lots of large trees providing shade. Greens were in very good shape, undulating which provided a challenge to read. Food in restaurant was very good. Staff very friendly. Starter let us go out an hour early, which was great! Wild turkeys provided some entertainment while on the course.
Teal Bend
We played an early round and felt like we had a private course reserved for us. It was beautifully manicured with a great layout. My new favorite "local" course. My only suggestion weeks be to improve the food service in the club house. Quality was ok but too slow if you want to grab a quick snack at the turn.
Best Score**84***
One of my favorite courses in Sacramento Area. I play at least once a month. Staff great course in good shape a few of the greens have a lot of ball marks. Come on people!!! it's not that hard they have a picture step by step on how to properly do it on the cart. Feels like your on your own course each hole secluded. The large fairways are lined with trees. Did not try the food so didn't give rating. Sunday afternoon pace of play excellent
great setting
play here once a year and enjoy it every time. great setting with each hole all by it' self. I almost felt as though I were some where else in the country. the greens rolled very well considering that they were punched not to long ago. Fairways have gererous landing areas. I did not feel intimidated by this course as it was vary flat, the fairways rolled very long. I liked the fact that the starter had us wait till the group in front of us was on the green before we teed off, great idea. Looking forward to playing here again.
very good
The course was in very good condition. I do not understand, why close to Easter week, management of the course decided to aerate the greens. I am not the management but believe they are losing many vacation players etc due to this. Staff on and off the course were wonderful.
Teal Bend airport
If jet engines don't distract your concentration, golf Teal Bend. The course is located a short distance from Sacramento International Airport, and on a few holes you can see the jets parking/landing.
The course offers mature trees and roughs. There is water, undulation, dog-leg fairways, and challenging par-3s.
We had a foursome, and enjoyed the experience. We ordered a good lunch from the 9th tee. Overall, a good experience.
Great Course
Love this course. Beautiful day and played in just over four hours.
