Waterchase Golf Course
About
Bring your best game to the Links at Waterchase--a long, difficult course that can be had if you get your mind right. Intimidating because of its length (7,304 yards), much of the extra yardage comes from five excruciatingly long par 5s. The key here is to manage these holes, get on the green or close in three, then do what you have to do for your pars.
If you play regularly at a local par 3 course, you might want to work in a practice round before taking on The Links, since there’s five par 3s.
Watch out for the enders on each side, which frame the scenic pond and waterfall that are sandwiched between the two greens. No. 9 is a 433-yard par 4, and requires a solid drive on the left side. Pay attention to the pin placement, as there is water behind the green. No. 18 goes 570 yards from the tips, and offers target golf at its best. You’ll need to lay up at least 120 yards from the hole, and keep the approach below the pin to assure yourself of an uphill putt.
Getting there : Located on the east side of Fort Worth at I-30 and Eastchase Pkwy. Take the Eastchase exit and drive north to John T. White Rd. Turn right and drive a short distance, then take the first right on Randoll Mill Rd. Turn left on Creek Run Rd.

Great shape
This course is in great shape considering many of the local DFW daily fee courses are struggling with their greens due to the unusual cold winter. Have played it for years and will continue. Clubhouse is a trailer which limits amenities, but staff is friendly and accommodating.
It means it when it's called Waterchase
Fun course to play. Very nice and well kept!! It's above average for the DFW area.
Plenty of water to avoid. But, lots of fun!!
Great course
Really great course that has every kind of hole you would want to play. The sand traps needed more sand in them(lots of rocks) but other than that it was great. Will definitely be back to play.
Great course But!!!!!
Waterchase is in great condition except for the sand traps. They don't have much sand in them at all or this would be no doubt a 5 star review. Still one of the best public courses in the metroplex!!!!
Simply the Best
Quite challenging and in the best condition I've experienced over the past year. Already planning my return visit!
LOVE this course. Will definitely be back!
The course is in beautiful shape. What a hidden treasure this is - I had heard great things about Waterchase for years but had never ventured over to play it. I suspect this will become one of my regulars now, it's definitely worth the drive. Fairways are lush and beautiful, greens in great condition. Staff was fantastic.
UNREAL!! THEY GAVE THIS PLACE THE RIGHT NAME!
This is a truly beautiful course. I’ve played all over the US and the islands. I love this course. Greens are in very very good shape. I’ve heard of pace of play issues. I’m an early player, and have never experienced that. This place has tons and tons of hazards. Lots of forced carries too. I have been here twice now, and plan on being back many times. If you’re looking for a course that’s not for the faint of heart. This is it! This is not the course to learn to play golf on either. But it is an absolute blast!! I would recommend this course to anybody
Championship golf in an Inclusive and Welcoming Environment
I have been a member at Waterchase for about a year now and joined after stumbling across the course early on in the pandemic. This course is ALWAYS in immaculate condition and it's clear that the staff there takes great pride in keeping it in pristine condition. The team there treats you like family and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure that each round is fun and enjoyable. Did I mention that the course is ALWAYS in excellent shape???
Another MAJOR difference is that the staff at Waterchase is just as diverse and friendly as the golfers who patronize the club. I have always felt welcomed and never out of place. And when I'm paired up, I consistently leave having had a great time and having made a few new friends.
Thank you to the entire team at Waterchase for creating and maintaining such a great golfing atmosphere. I appreciate all of you. Clarence (for taking initiative and consistently finding solutions), Seth (for always greeting me warmly), Mark (for always being responsive and dependable), Scottie (for taking such personal PRIDE in the course and being so professional), Earl (for keeping folks in check), Shorty (for making me laugh)... everyone... you take such incredible care of us!!!
It was a very easy decision to renew my membership this year and I encourage everyone to give Waterchase a visit. Hands down the best team and the best value in DFW!!!
Waterchase
Love this course! Staff is awesome, course is well maintained. Plays totally different depending on what tees you play, tips are manageable, blues aren’t always easy, wind is a big factor, especially on 14 & 17.
Need a few marshals
I have always enjoyed playing Waterchase. Love the challenging holes and shot-by-shot thinking around the course. The course was in pretty good shape with a few hardpan or nearly bare spots. Greens were good as always and pretty quick.
I played on Good Friday and the course was packed to the brim. I went in expecting a 5 hour round and I was ok with that. Not so fast.... after 4.5 hours and 13 holes, I gave up. Not one marshal in sight. As it turned out, it was one group of guys, drinking, having too good a time, that held everything up. I skipped over from 13 to #17 and #18 and not a group in sight. They need a few course marshals during busy times.
I would recommend the course to good golfers. beginners and once a year players will lose 10-20 balls here. IT's a great challenge and worth what they charge, but try and get out early or on a weekday.
