About
Frisco Lakes Golf Club is a part of the Del Webb Frisco Lakes Community, just north of Dallas. The front nine of the course is interwoven with the community itself while the back nine sprawls across open countryside. The five sets of tees range from just over 5,000 yards to just over 7,000 yards, allowing the golf course to be played as a leisurely round or a formidable test. The challenging, well maintained greens are the course's most memorable feature. Golfers should be prepared for a back-to-back peninsula green and island green on the seventh and eighth holes. The 14th is another tough water hole that runs alongside Lake Lewisville. Water is not the only hazard at Frisco Lakes Golf Club though, there are also plenty of strategically placed bunkers throughout.

Struggling
Great staff and layout but course is struggling to recover from winter blast and heavy rains, green fees should be reduced for better value until course returns to good condition, also need to allow carts on fairways during summer not going to harm the damage any more than it is now, but would help speed of play, also return water stations many courses have already added back or add more cart service. Can’t wait till it returns to normal.
Look elsewhere
Wet weather has prevented mowing. Fairways and most greens are in rough shape from the winter. Course needs to greatly reduce pricing to account for the conditions, otherwise, most players will not be returning.
Slow play, poor condition
Packed golf course . Took 5 hours to play. Sould put more time between tee times. Pro staff stinks. Starter was a great guy

Terrible conditions
I used to absolutely love frisco lakes but last time I played it it was in the worst condition I’ve ever seen in the past 3 years. Fairways looked like mud, tee boxes either straight dirt or haven’t been mowed in 2 months. Greens rolled absolutely horribly and was just in overall poor condition for an $85 round. Will not return until course is back in good shape.

Stay Away
Fees are 50% higher than last year and you might as well play in a cow pasture. Tee boxes overgrown. Fairway dead. 110yd Par 4 on the back. Pace was SLOOW. Greens are horrid.

Conditions are pretty bad
The front 9 is so wrecked due to the freeze. There was no indication or reflection in price. Yes, they did mention cart path only for 7 holes, but I didn’t think it was as bad as it was. The tee boxes are an inch high at least, and the greens play like they’re primary rough when they’re not covered in new sod or stamped mud. At least drop the price down a bit.
I’m probably going to wait until late next year to play this course again to let it grow in. I always liked this track, but the course as is bad it could get.

Greens full of sand patches. Fairways have no grass. Didn’t even finish the round it was so slow.

Terrible court conditions
Terrible court conditions, The course is in really poor condition. This is understandable due to the bad weather we have, however the green free should be adjusted for the course condition we are paying higher prices this year than we did last year when the course was in perfect condition. I will not play the course again until the conditions improve are the prices drop. It was the consensus of our group that the condition of the course was way way too poor for the price of the Greenfield

Make sure you get your belongings or they will be gone
I played Frisco Lakes on 5/15 with my son. We did leave our Bushnell Wingman in our cart when we returned t. I realized our mistake when I arrived home and took our clubs out of the car. I immediately called the club to ask if they had it. They have an answering service that handles the phone for them. They take your information and reason for the call. They attempt to connect you to the pro shop, but return to inform you that no one in the pro shop answered and ask you to call back in 15 - 20 minutes.
This same routine persisted twice a day for the following four days. I asked for them to take my information and have some call me. That didn’t happen either. I was so frustrated with repeating
The same information of my name, date I played and the cart number to be told that the pro shop isn’t picking up and to try back in 15 minutes, that I finally drove over there. I live in McKinney so not the easiest.
I spoke with the woman who was in the shop and to no avail. My wingman wasn’t there. I am fully confident we left it attached to the post of cart number #69 on 5/15. My only satisfaction is that the staff person who has it does not have a complete speaker. The remote piece was not on it as it was in my pocket, so there’s that.
Point of all this is to ensure you clean out your cart as you won’t see anything again you accidentally leave and to let you know of the horrible call service they have. Plenty of other places to play in the Dallas area to subject yourself to this level of customer service.
We had 2 sets of clubs stolen also and no call back!! This place is a sham!!

Slow Play and POOR Management
BAD staff and very slow play... But nice layout and fun to play.

Love this course
Layout is great. Tee boxes and greens weren’t in the best shape this week, but it was a hard winter. Facilities are great. Staff are superb. It’s a great track.

Cart path only
Cartpath only is a little unnerving. the fairways are in decent shape could’ve easily driven on some of them. Definitely took about an hour longer to play the course than usual.
Large groups both ahead and behind us didn’t make it any better. Pin placement was good, greens were like asphalt.

North Texas has had som weather issues... I get it, but this course was in VERY BAD conditions.
Why did we need to use. Hole #16 as the

Overall condition of the course is not worth more than a cart fee.
I know the greens were stressed from the freezes, but the bunkers weren’t manicured and the tee boxes hadn’t been mowed in over a week.

I love the layout and the folks I play with out there all the time.. But a lot of bare spots in fairways due to the freeze. Greens are slightly sandy and a bit slower than usual.
