About
Frisco Lakes Golf Club is a part of the Del Webb Frisco Lakes Community, just north of Dallas. The front nine of the course is interwoven with the community itself while the back nine sprawls across open countryside. The five sets of tees range from just over 5,000 yards to just over 7,000 yards, allowing the golf course to be played as a leisurely round or a formidable test. The challenging, well maintained greens are the course's most memorable feature. Golfers should be prepared for a back-to-back peninsula green and island green on the seventh and eighth holes. The 14th is another tough water hole that runs alongside Lake Lewisville. Water is not the only hazard at Frisco Lakes Golf Club though, there are also plenty of strategically placed bunkers throughout.

Great course layout
Great course. Like many courses this year and the freeze hurt the course. Fairways and greens going to take some time to rebuild. Little disappointed in traps not being in great condition but imagine their time is full managing the other high demands areas.
They have done well in prepping course to control further damage in regards to 90 degree rule and golf path only holes.
This can cause a lot of walking as the fairways are wide so be prepared.
I look forward tompkating this course qhen it is back to its, typical, prestine conditions.
Won't pay full rate but will play again with discount.

Awful Course Conditions
The course conditions were horrible. The greens were worth $30 around. Pace of play was horrible, staff was not friendly. Do not recommend playing this course at all.

Course was in HORRIBLE shape. I play a variety of courses in the area, this is by far the worst. The girl in the shop t rd IED to tell me that the course was in good shape. HA! Greens thin and very bumpy and dead spots everywhere, 1/2 of the holes were cart path only with dead spots everywhere. For the price I paid...I feel it was a real ripoff.
It will 2 months for it to recover...if then.
I play there a lot si I was VERY DISAPPOINTED in the course and the friendliness of staff in th shop.

Fun Course to play
They ar having problems with the fairways because of the snow & weather this winter. There are many holes you have carts on path because of this. They are trying very hard to recover the fairways.

Still trying to green up
Greens were a bit rough but mostly because grass is still trying to grow out from winter. I’m sure in a few weeks it will be great.

Will not go there again
Driving range closed after moderate rain the day before. Front nine took 2 12/ hours so we gave up after 9. No carts when we checked in. had to wait 25 minutes for a cart. No tournament going on so why no carts?

Not Elite Course As Perceived
Staff is rude so do not expect nice service in pro shop Course is in rough shape RIGHT NOW. It will be fantastic in few months. Carts are old and move very rough. Overall they think they are a 4-5 star course and are not. Just over priced.

Great time golfing there
The grounds were in great shape, love the greens. Cath path only was not a huge slow down, the play was managed very well.

Slow day and mediocre greens
The greens rolled just okay, some sandy, some bumpy but overall the course was in fairly good shape given the winter we had in Dallas. Several holes were cart path only which slowed pace of play, but it shouldn’t have been a five hour round. It took 1 hour to play the first six holes, and 4 hours to play the last 12 holes. There was a ranger that drove by and waived not sure what else he was doing. He wasn’t managing a group of six that we could hear cussing and screaming while we were finishing..they were on 9. SIGH....

Didn’t play
I just calling every day to golf now days before nobody would talk to me and I need my money refunded. Not in any way okay it doesn’t make sense to give a 24 hour time span to cancel if it won’t let me I tried 3 days ahead to cancel. Need my money refunded or filing a case.
