a complete rip off. Do not spend the money...manager is really screwing over everyone with the prices he is charging. They completely let the greens go to save money. Worst golf experience ever. No refunds at all

The greens were in terrible condition, freshly punched, over sanded and lots of bare patches

I have sent this in an email to you guys 10 times this week and have not received one response. The way this course is managed brings shame to the golfing industry. You should be embarrassed.

"Hello, 

We were not notified that the greens were in such terrible shape that there is barely even any grass on them or that our tee times weren't discounted for the terrible conditions the greens were in nor that we would be kicked off the course at 7:30 pm. 

Please put a notice at least on your website that says the course is not in normal condition and should not be charged normal price. 

I would like to ask for at least a partial refund especially since we weren't even able to finish our round. We teed off at 3 pm and weren't able to get close to finishing by 7:30pm. Although the course traffic was not being held at a timely standard, you should know that we aren't going to finish and should charge less than full price in the first place. You guys barely even discount your twilight rate and then charge normal even though the greens are HORRENDOUS.

This is outrageous that this level of complaint needs to be made epecially considering the conditions of the greens. I have reached out to you guys multiple times over the last few days and have been left unanswered. As a regular customer, I do nothing but boast about how great this facility is, but after this, all trust has been lost. 

I spent $140 on 3 tee times that were not reflective of the course we played or the round we didn't even get to finish. At most, it should have been $60 for 3 people with the course like that and we didn't even finish.

Please address this. This is outrageous."

And just writing "thanks, we try to provide a 5-star experience. Come again." Will not due. I will not be coming back anytime soon, and I'm sure a lot of your regular customers that were excited to get back on this normally great course will be hesitant to trust anything you guys have to say.

The least you could do is put on the website a disclaimer that the greens are lost.

If you are going to learn anything from this, at least put up a tab on your website that has course conditions updated daily. Take some responsibility and run your golf course the way it is supposed to be run.

I have played this course several times and enjoy it a lot. Yesterday was a disaster. The greens had been punched and sanded. Unfortunately, we did not find out until we arrived. At $62+ the value was not there. My group plays 3 times a week. Over the past 2 months this was the worst...because of the greens where half the strokes are played. Additionally, they had replaced the flags with practice green size sticks that did not register in range finder and impaired depth perception. Finally, their COVID blurb says 1 player per cart. But only given 2 carts for four players. Very disappointing. $25 round would be acceptable. $62 actual was just plain wrong. The did give me a $79 raincheck to play again. Too little too late. I shot about 8 strokes over my norm. Missed putts due to sand

Worst greens ever and they charged $62 on a weekday afternoon. Will never play here again.

I have played this course many times and think it is a great layout and normally in great condition. The fairways and the rest of the course looking good for spring, but the greens are awful! Some plugged, all sanded and most major dead spots. There where 3 greens coming in Ok, 15,16 & 17. I ask for a refund from the Pro, but having to go thru the run around with Golf Now. It might be easy to book a round, but its painful to get a refund!!!

Today's round was less than stellar. The greens were in the worst shape I've seen them in over 6 years. This place is know for having great greens, but not now. Something went wrong over the winter. Bumpy, spotty and just bad. Again, I hope they get a plan to get them back healthy! I'll be looking elsewhere to play until they are fixed.

Sorry Frisco Lakes, I hate leaving a bad review, because I love playing here!

They are now allowing cart travel with 1 person per cart and 2 carts per group.

The driving range, Proshop, and Restrooms now open. Beverage cart is also now active.

The greens need 3-4 weeks to heal, still in poor shape (bumpy and slow). The rest of the course is in very good condition.

The rest of the course was fine. Greens should be better in June

I’ve played this course 25 times over the years and have enjoyed the layout and overall playing conditions. The greens are a disaster and this is not the result of punching., it is however a reflection of mis management by the course superintendent. Stop the hypocrisy folks and close course to help with recovery. Too bad this occurred but I’m out for the foreseeable future.

Greens are horrible. Course has not been maintained. Not sure if they are short on cash or what, but we won’t be back anytime soon.

Greens are in horrible shape... possibly the worst I have played in DFW. Covid policy of one cart per twosome was an unpleasant surprise too. $70... not worth it given the greens.

I’ve always enjoyed Frisco Lakes, but even after the lack of golfers for a month in the spring, the greens were really bad. Not sure what happened, but they’ve apparently lost them for this season.

Still like the course layout.

The greens were in pretty tragic shape. Other than that, it’s not a bad course for what you pay for. Their Covid cart policy was a little wonky but no biggie.

What a shame... I love this course! The layout and the facilities are great. The staff is awesome! However the greens are terrible... I know it's tough right now... but I have to be honest... I will be back after they fix the greens....

Course is in decent shape, but right now, have maybe the worst greens I’ve ever played on. Not sure how long it will take them to grow back, but will probably steer clear for a couple months. Usually at least a 4 star course, but not right now.
