About
Frisco Lakes Golf Club is a part of the Del Webb Frisco Lakes Community, just north of Dallas. The front nine of the course is interwoven with the community itself while the back nine sprawls across open countryside. The five sets of tees range from just over 5,000 yards to just over 7,000 yards, allowing the golf course to be played as a leisurely round or a formidable test. The challenging, well maintained greens are the course's most memorable feature. Golfers should be prepared for a back-to-back peninsula green and island green on the seventh and eighth holes. The 14th is another tough water hole that runs alongside Lake Lewisville. Water is not the only hazard at Frisco Lakes Golf Club though, there are also plenty of strategically placed bunkers throughout.

Frisco Lakes
Frisco Lakes punched their greens two weeks ago and they are still very bumpy and slow. The rest of the course was excellent.
Due to covid - no range, no carts, no clubhouse. Online pre-payment only. But reduced rates currently, and $40 for a 12:00 tee time on a perfect sunny Sunday - still a great deal.

Did not get to play. Round was to include cart per GolfNow. Clubhouse closed. Only walking. No golf 2 wheel carts. Bad deal. Got money put toward future booking. Drove 80 miles roujd trip to play. Not happy. Thinks the steps were tak8ng was unnecessary!

Worst Greens
Pretty nuts that the greens are literally unputtable and they’re charging $51 to walk. Sad! Very Unfair! Worst greens I have seen in years, they got a really, really bad fungus.

Greens are unplayable
Staff was friendly for the most part. The tees and fairways are in good shape and the layout is fun. The greens are completely unplayable. We were told they were punched 10 days ago, but It seems like they haven’t watered since then. They are extremely bumpy and burnt out. You don’t have a prayer of making a putt outside of 3 feet. Not worth $50 right now, but it might be worth a try in a few months.

Needs some attention
Charged $51 to walk, and I thought ok, maybe they are trying to recoup some of the income they lost from being closed for a couple weeks and I'll help support a local course. But the course was in horrible shape - especially the greens. Most of the grass was gone, lots of sand, prior aeration holes, etc. Putting on it was a joke. Not worth the money paid. Need to wait awhile before I play here again until they get the course back into better shape.

Bad Greens
The greens are so terrible. The worse I’ve seen. It’s has fungus. Save your money.

Couse was still muddy on certain holes due to last weeks rain. Pace of play was slow. Took 5-hrs. to play.

Great Course
Bright Golf Course. Stage better than I would have thought. First played it about 10-12 years ago and it's only improved. Even though we'd have had an inch and a half of playing in the previous 48 Hours, course drain well and was an excellent shape. Will definitely return.

We had it to ourselves
We chose to play today after two days of rain so we knew it would be cart path only. So we decided to walk and it was great! Honestly never saw anyone!! I always enjoy playing this challenging but fun course.

Course has taken a beating
I love this course and play here often. The course has seen better days. The greens were inconsistent and bumpy. Some fairways have cart damage. Still a great course and cant wait for spring. This course is top notch when the grass is green.

Great course
I have played this course several times, and it never fails to impress. Even for the winter times, this course was in great shape. It is fair but challenging for any skill level of golfer.

Great Layout
Really enjoy this course, play Frisco Lakes 5 to 7 timer per year. Only reason I gave only 4 stars on course conditions was, it is winter conditions and they had rain recently. The greens were excellent but many fairways were wet. Had a 90 degree rule enforced and still played in 4 hours 10 minutes. Great staff and although I am not sure of the health benefits, should try their hotdog. This course will remain on my rotation.

No Marshall Support
Overall, the course was fine. It was pretty wet in places and we were not allowed to take the carts off the cart path. This, of course, slowed down the pace of play. Everything was fine, right up until, someone walked up on the course (hole 13) and started between us and the group ahead. A young lady and her friend, that was just shooting photos. Not only was this person terrible, they took photo opportunities every time they hit the ball. They then reviewed them. Absolutely incredible. This person and friend were CLUELESS.
Our 4 hour round turned into a 5 hour around and backed us all up. At one point we waited for 10 minutes while she was trying to get out of a bunker.
No Marshall in sight. Had there been, we could have done something.
Very disappointing for a 70.00 round of golf/pp.
I complained to the course via e-mail and heard NOTHING!!!! Poor customer service.
