About
Frisco Lakes Golf Club is a part of the Del Webb Frisco Lakes Community, just north of Dallas. The front nine of the course is interwoven with the community itself while the back nine sprawls across open countryside. The five sets of tees range from just over 5,000 yards to just over 7,000 yards, allowing the golf course to be played as a leisurely round or a formidable test. The challenging, well maintained greens are the course's most memorable feature. Golfers should be prepared for a back-to-back peninsula green and island green on the seventh and eighth holes. The 14th is another tough water hole that runs alongside Lake Lewisville. Water is not the only hazard at Frisco Lakes Golf Club though, there are also plenty of strategically placed bunkers throughout.

Never again
Greens are basically unplayable. No warning that greens were punched and essentially dead. Hit the same putt three times and expect three different results. Pro shop staff unfriendly and not helpful. Save your money and play somewhere else. I'll never play here again.
Greens
The course is a great layout, but currently the green are in transition and are horrible. They were great all winter, but the rain and weather have left them in very poor shape. But, they don’t putt that bad considering.
Play is typically well paced, but more marshaling needs to be done at times as there are some twosomes that are very slow as well as foursomes that must be playing for the US Open.

I play Frisco Lakes on a semi-regular basis and it is always an enjoyable day on the course (save for my score sometimes). The staff is solid and courteous.

Course is greening up good. Did not know until I arrived at the Pro Shop... the course had been aerated on May 1st. That includes fairways & greens.

Great Layout, Crappy Greens
Pretty course. Several very picturesque holes with fun challenges. Forgiving for novice golfers but challenging for skilled players. Staff were all friendly and helpful. On-course refreshments from the cart girl were surprisingly reasonable in cost. Aside from the fact that our cart felt like it was about to die any second for the entire duration of the round, I very much enjoyed it. Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape.
The greens, however, were atrocious. Bumpy, uneven, sanded, gritty, un-receptive, and super hard. Made putting nearly impossible. Even the best-read put had a chance of going offline by four to six inches purely because of cracks and uneven texture. And we discovered this after the starter told us that the greens were in "great shape" and "super fluffy and receptive" that day. They were anything but. I'll come back again, but not until the greens are fixed.

Greens bumby, bare, and bad shape.
Too many better courses in DFW area for less money with nice greens. ie. Bridlewood, Heritage Ranch, The Bridges, Firewheel, Sherrill Park...

Course is decent
Greens are in poor shape. Bunkers are poor, had not been raked. Fairways are decent but bumping still needed. Grass has not fully grown in yet. Still spring golf.
I booked on GolfNow app. I wish the app would State better course conditions. Greens are sanded etc.

The greens were horrible. Very bumpy and not even starting to have the grass grow. Fairways were just starting to have some grass grow. This course has gone down hill regarding conditions over the last couple years. Better wait until late June before considering this course.

Greens need some work
Great layout and value for a semi-private club.. Greens were in good shape (no bare spots, sand, weeds etc..) but, they need to be cut or rolled, very bumpy! The layout is challenging and forgiving. We had 2-3 club wind today so it was extremely challenging.

Good Basic Course
Golf course is in great shape. Greens run true, and are well designed. Facility is good, staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this course.

Great time on windy day
Frisco Lakes is always a fun course to play. I say this after playing in 20 mph winds. Front 9 was cart path only then we asked at the turn if we could go 90 degree. They can out when we’re were on 11 and said yes. Wind dries out a course quick when it’s that strong. Greens are a little bumpy and sand is a little firm but it’s early in the year and we had some big time rain this weekend. 7, 8 & 9 are 3 great holes and fun to play.
