About
Frisco Lakes Golf Club is a part of the Del Webb Frisco Lakes Community, just north of Dallas. The front nine of the course is interwoven with the community itself while the back nine sprawls across open countryside. The five sets of tees range from just over 5,000 yards to just over 7,000 yards, allowing the golf course to be played as a leisurely round or a formidable test. The challenging, well maintained greens are the course's most memorable feature. Golfers should be prepared for a back-to-back peninsula green and island green on the seventh and eighth holes. The 14th is another tough water hole that runs alongside Lake Lewisville. Water is not the only hazard at Frisco Lakes Golf Club though, there are also plenty of strategically placed bunkers throughout.

When we arrived, we were told that we needed to return the cart no later than 5pm. Closing early because of the Thanksgiving holiday and it was going to get dark. That left us to play our round in less than four hours (Tee time was 1:21pm). We were behind a group who was constantly having to wait for the group in front of them. As a result, we were able to play 16 our of 18 holes. If the course knows that they are not going to be able to have persons finish, then why the full price or a small reduction in the "retail" price? Should have been a greater reduction in cost.

Good FUN course BUT
The staff in the pro shop stink ! Don't know how to treat a guest golfer. BUT my Mother told me to be nice all the time to rude people. Maybe they were just having a bad day.
The golf course has a great layout but in poor condition on a few hloes. Try again in 6 months.

Pace of Play
This is a tough review, the conditions were absolutely perfect. The only issue that I have the last few times we played is the pace of play. We had four groups on one hole. The Marshall drove by and there was no discussion with any of the players. I am unsure why the pace of play has been an issue the last few times we’ve played

Pace of play
Pace of play was awful. Tee times were 4 minutes apart on Sunday. Marshall was helpless. Then as it was getting dark, the Marshall pulled the flag off the green while we were finishing the 15 th hole. Right in front of us! Clearly he wanted to go home. It would have been a 5 hour round. But we couldn’t finish.

Management is Missing
The ownership of this course is not only oblivious to the residents, but downright anti-resident. The course favors non-residents, but charges them rates not applicable to the condition of the course. Eleven of eighteen holes have been cart path only, good shot in the middle of the fairway are penalized due to new grass laid on top of the fairway. The GM is one of the most apathetic human beings I’ve ever met. Don’t expect a response to any communication with him. The ONLY good thing with the course is Tyler, who definitely cares about his customers, especially the residents of Frisco Lakes.

Course in good shape!
The course was in good shape and pace of play on Friday was also good. The course has recovered pretty well from the hard freeze earlier this year.
