Course in decent condition for the time of year apart from a few areas where there was some standing water.

Staff in the Pro shop were very welcoming and obliging.

Course in great condition!

Considering the dry summer the fairways had a lovely covering of grass and the greens had a wonderful roll on them!!!

Fantasic course in pristine condition. A challenging test of all parts of your game in a truly Championship setting. Lovely staff in the clubhouse very welcoming , facilities were top notch...will be back.

Enjoyed playing this course very much. It was in great condition and staff were very friendly. Only negative was the clubhouse bar/restaurant was only open on weekends but the hotel is very close for food and drinks after a round.

The course is in great condition, the coruse is a nice max of long and short par 4 with some interesting par 3’s and tough long par 5’s. Greens are immaculate and are a very true read.

It’s all about personal preference when it comes to golf courses, I thought the course lacked and character apart from the signature hole which is the last 1. It’s a savagely difficult one but I enjoyed trying to at least get a point on it as a 14 handicap but alas failed.

Played in an open competition. Played twice before in 2022, and late 2000s. Am a member in a North Dublin club. A member in clubs a long time. Course in amazing condition. Placing everywhere. Tee boxes, fairways, green approach & fringe, and the greens were wow. Smooth, fast, great colour, ran true (exactly like practice area). Chipping n pitching grasses perfect. In 2 bunkers, both had amazing sand and playability. Damp in the deeper areas in the rough but due to recent weather.

Genuinely amazed a small group of staff could present a course like that in deepest of winter. In such better condition than our own Dublin course. Wish ours was like Moyvalley, not even in the same neighbourhood for condition. Good test (off yellow tees) with a good wind to work with/against. Design I like (although some may not), a resort type course (Darren Clarke designed I think), hazards off the tee, and at the green. Plenty of slopes on greens, and as above just in amazing condition. Those who are members living the winter condition dream, will be there with a group next May, but would return in a heartbeat. Congrats to the golf and course maintenance team, doing a fantastic job,

I absolutely love this course, layout and playability. However, the course was not in great condition, fairways had not been cut, weeds in some areas, greens looked great but again needed attention. I have played twice previously and hope the upkeep will improve. The teeboxes were as long as the rough, very poor. Hopefully this will be addressed and returned to its previous condition.

Great course. Considering how poor the weather has been, Moyvalley has held up well. Fair play to the greens keepers . It's a credit to them

Great course and well worth playing. Challenging holes and course in great condition even in the rain. Helpful staff also. Would highly recommend.

Not sure if this is a fair review given the weather we have been having, but if the course is that wet, then charging €35 is a bit steep. The greens though were excellent and in super condition given the time of year. I spent a lot of time putting as there weren’t many on the course.

I played the course many years ago and loved it. I liked the layout and the course was in great condition.

Cleaning facilities in good working order.

Decent driving range to start, lots of practice greens, and a course that was in competition condition.

Will be back as soon as possible.. It was perfect.

Played Moyvalley on Monday with 3 friends. Despite significant rainfall in the preceding days, the course was still very playable. It’s a great layout with super greens, although they were a little slow following the rainfall and recent sanding.

Nice friendly welcome from staff in the shop.

Played the course off the yellow tees and enjoyed it. Course in good condition, greens in good condition and rough not too punishing.

Dinner in hotel afterwards was decent also.

Would recommend.
