Hill Country Golf Club - Creeks/Oaks
About
The Creeks Nine is one of three courses at the Hill Country Golf Club. Named after the creeks that meander through the layout, this course demands accuracy with water coming into play on several holes and numerous strategically placed bunkers. There are also wooded ravines and a variety of elevation changes to keep golfers on their toes. The Oaks Nine is named for the towering oaks that blanket the course. The courses are situated on over 200 acres of scenic Texas Hill Country, giving them each a beautiful landscape of rolling hills and lush meadows dotted with native oak trees and clear blue lakes. Hill Country Golf Club is also home to a driving range and putting green on addition to the three nines.

Creek Course #9 Photo submitted by GreerGolf on 06/06/2017
This course has different 9 hole greens
There is a big difference between courses within the same facility
Great day for golf in San Antonio
This course is in great condition(except for the bunkers). Enjoyed playing.
this course was in great shape
this was an exceptional value purchased through golf now.
Best deal for active duty
Reg price 200$, twilight $45, so the golfnow deal saves you a few bucks, but active duty can play 18 anytime for only $55. Just FYI. Most beautiful course in San Antonio.
Worth playing
The course was in really good condition and I would play it again. You reed to play smart to score well.
JDV
We got a good deal on Golf Now, but would not pay full price for this course.
A nice experience
I hadn't played this course in 10 years, but on a return visit to San Antonio decided to once again play what used to be a favorite course. I found the resort, the golf shop, the staff, and the overall experience to be very nice, just as I remembered it in the past. There are 27 holes, and we played the Creeks and the Oaks. The Creeks is made up largely of new holes since the original 36, and isn't quite as nice as the original. The course conditions were good, although the sand traps are in bad need of rehabilitation, as they are more "dirt" and "mud" traps at this point in time. We still enjoyed the course a lot.
excellent courses and facilties
Great courses difficulty level for all handicaps. Only issue poor sans in bunkers but shouldn't be there in the first place.
It's a resort course
Played as a twosome. Had a twosome immediately in front devoid of any golf courtesy. Open holes a head of them yet they would hit extra chips/putts while we waited in fairway or on tee. At turn ran into a five some who did allow us to play through. Bunkers need a lot of work; dirt in most that we found. Staff excellent. Challenging course that requires good line control. Most greens good to very good, though a couple ragged. Cart gps was off as much as ten yards from my rangefinder. Worth playing with discount or specials.
Hyatt Hill Country Golf
Outstanding staff, very good speed of play, course was in good shape - only because its early for the fairways - they will become great very shortly. The greens are smooth, roll well, and challenging reads! Would play here again anytime possible! Booked on Golf Now and got good fee rate!
Not resort friendly.
This is a challenging course which requires shot placements. A lot of Par 4 tee shots are through narrow shoots or to narrow fairways. Greens have a lot of levels and slopes. Didn't think the overall quality of the course was worth the price.
Great fun
Nice track and even nicer people. I had a great experience there twice!
Tough course, but in great shape.
Course was in great shape and the staff is very friendly.
Nice experience
We played Oaks and Creek. Oaks was more challenging, Creeks was very open. We were a 2some paired up with 2 other vacationers. Very nice round. Just a cool windy day which we didn't expect in Texas in April.
Great place to play golf and relax
This is a the Hyatt Hill Country Resort in San Antonio. Wonderful facilities. Great place to come
and play golf or just relax. Next to Sea World so plenty to do.
Course was in good shape....greens a little bumpy.
Lots of water on Lakes course and lots of woods if you miss fairway.
Three nine hole courses so you can play a combination.
Like the layout
This is a nice course. The greens are in great condition given the time of year. The drought effects are obvious. The price should be lower right now.
Our round at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort
I was very please with the staff and course conditions. This is a beautiful course. I am looking forward to the next time we play here.
Great Value for the Money!!
The ONLY problem with this course is the Marshals will absolutely not push anyone, so if you get behind someone playing a 6 hour round, you will play six hours. I have played this course many times over the years, and they will come out if you play 5 or 6 people behind the 6 hour people, but they have NEVER told anyone to speed up play.
Hyatte Golf
We had a great experience. The staff was very helpful. The course was very nice for this time of year. I would recommend this course to anyone.
Never again.
Left our clubs on a sidewalk to park. Then carried to cart - starter pointed to which cart we could load clubs on.
Dirt bunkers, no sand.
We were twosome that then got stuck behind six guys playing together.
Regrettable round.
