About
WildHawk Golf Club is a challenging championship layout that is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The verdant landscape is dotted with scenic water features, including a cascading waterfall. Water is naturally a prominent presence but the unique shape and positioning of the bunkers also makes the course stand out from other public tracks. The golf course boasts some of the area's best greens as well. The layout has a diverse mix of challenging holes and player friendly elements such as the wide-open fairways on the longer par 4s and par 5s, which makes the golf course accommodating for a range of skill levels. It still requires a fair amount of accuracy though since it can get tight in some spots. WildHawk Golf Club can also be more difficult depending on the wind

Tee box’s
Tee box’s are terrible every single one was uneven patchy and hard to get a good feel for your feet. fairways need a little work especially after someone I’m sure left the sprinklers on leaving puddles on the fairways of hole 1 .
Hidden Gem of Sac
Love the course. Like to take friends from outta town here. Fun spot for any skill level.

Nice day of golf at Wildhawk
Had a very nice day at golf at Wildhawk; this is getting to be one of my favorite courses. It’s a good layout and it’s not overly difficult so you can score pretty well and the pace of play has always been pretty good.
The greens had been punched the week before so they were slow and a bit bumpy but that’s to be expected and I imagine will be back to normal within the next few days.
Much improved conditions!
The grounds are in very good shape. The work on the greens is showing some real improvement too.
Aerification of Front 9 Greens
Today, March 22, 2021 the front 9 was closed for the aerification of the front 9 greens. So we played the back 9 twice. Even without aerification, the greens have not been "rolled" in a long time. Greens are visibily bumpy. After aerification, the greens will really be bumpy--not smooth. Still, an excellent discounted green fee price was offered. Worth playing. The back 9 greens will go through aerification on Tuesday, March 23.
Great pace and good conditions
The course was in good condition and the staff is friendly. Finished our round in about four hours. Only small minor issue is some tee boxes aren’t very level but otherwise enjoy playing here; it’s a fun course to play and you can score pretty well if you’re having a good day.
Very Nice Course
Got a hot deal from Golfnow, $45. All the courses have jumped their rates way higher then they should be, just my thoughts. So many people are playing they know they can do it. That being said this is a nice course, one of my favorites. Like the majority of public courses they are not pristine but the price is right, maybe. Course has water hazards some carries but is enjoyable.
Course in very good condition
My only criticism was the tee boxes. The other aspects like fairways, rough, bunkers and greens were all in excellent conditions. The tee boxes were not up to the same standards as the rest of the course.

thanks for your comment, sorry you found our greens "bumpy" yesterday. We do roll our greens at least twice a week and we did verticut them as well. Hope you find them to your liking next time out.
