About
WildHawk Golf Club is a challenging championship layout that is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The verdant landscape is dotted with scenic water features, including a cascading waterfall. Water is naturally a prominent presence but the unique shape and positioning of the bunkers also makes the course stand out from other public tracks. The golf course boasts some of the area's best greens as well. The layout has a diverse mix of challenging holes and player friendly elements such as the wide-open fairways on the longer par 4s and par 5s, which makes the golf course accommodating for a range of skill levels. It still requires a fair amount of accuracy though since it can get tight in some spots. WildHawk Golf Club can also be more difficult depending on the wind

Great course in excellent condition
Fun, course is in great shape. It was a beautiful day. Play was fast. Greens rolled true. Our foursome had a wonderful day. Highly recommend this golf course.
Kudos to the Marshall
Most marshalls at most courses will try to help if asked. The guy on duty at Wildhawk today took it upon himself to assess the situation snd try to resolve it. It wasn't magic but his effort made a difference and his attitude was refreshing. Thanks.

Fun Round with some Nice People
The round was good. I got grouped with three guys who play a lot together and it was fun to watch and listen to their fun little jabs at each other. The course was in pretty good condition, still needs some grass to fill in here and there. Greens were recently punched and were just a bit bumpy.
Beautiful day, delightful course
We had a great day golfing today. It was a beautiful day. The course was is stellar condition. The grass was green and bright and cut to a good length. The greens ran smooth and true but are challenging too. The rough was thick and penalized the bad shot with heavy grass to cut through. I mowed way to Much of it down. The pace was a tiny bit slow. One older foursome was walking and the course backed up behind them. But truthfully, we didn’t care because the weather was perfect.
Fun but slow
Course was in great shape and looked great. Got stuck behind a group on the back nine that would not let anyone play through and the Marshall insisted to my group that it was “our problem” even though the course ahead was wide open. Aside from the pace had a great day on the course and hope to return soon.
Good course
Wildhawk needs some work on the bunkers, actual sand would work. I love the pro shop and restaurant, always friendly and great deals at the pro shop!
