About
WildHawk Golf Club is a challenging championship layout that is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The verdant landscape is dotted with scenic water features, including a cascading waterfall. Water is naturally a prominent presence but the unique shape and positioning of the bunkers also makes the course stand out from other public tracks. The golf course boasts some of the area's best greens as well. The layout has a diverse mix of challenging holes and player friendly elements such as the wide-open fairways on the longer par 4s and par 5s, which makes the golf course accommodating for a range of skill levels. It still requires a fair amount of accuracy though since it can get tight in some spots. WildHawk Golf Club can also be more difficult depending on the wind

Horrible experience
The pace of play was beyond unacceptable. A foursome went off at 4pm. Took them 40 minutes to play 2 holes. Most of the bunkers looked like they hadn't seen a rake in months.
Great Day
Course was great...Fun times. Bartender was great. I wish golf was like this in San Jose. We didn't have to wait at all, the entire day. #JagerForCraiger
Great course
Course played well, I had a great round. Fairways and greens in good shape. I played a solo round for it was a slow day meaning unpopulated and completed my round in three hous.

Nice day to play even though it was hot, pace of play was good overall and course was in good condition. Surprising no refreshment carts out on a high 90s day, staff is very friendly as always!!

It was a very pleasant day for golf on this course despite the temperatures running into the mid-90's.
Great day on the golf course...
Wonderful experience from the friendly staff to the overall quality of the course (with quick and true greens that were consistent from 1-18), along with an attentive staff on the 19th hole as well. A short course from the white tees, lots of iron shots or fairway woods help to keep the course manageable.
Steady wind from the second hole in, which fortunately played either down-wind or cross-wind on many holes. Surprisingly few holes that actually had direct head wind (sans a par 3 and one par 5 where the impact was significant).
Good course, I would definitely play here again.

Very much enjoyed the round. A bit windy but greens in good condition. Fairways also good. Fun day.
Great day on course
I've played here a dozen times or so, it was very nice weather and the course is in great shape. We were stuck behind a slow moving 4some (2 older couples that could hit the ball about 50-100 yards each time)
Great course, food, price & clubhouse. Great course for any handicap golfer

Overall the course is great my one complaint is most of the t boxes are not flat I understand this is a links style course
But you should not have to play an uneven stances in the T box.
Consistently good golf course
I have played Wildhawk 5 or 6 times over the last 12 months. I have had a good experiance each time. I play as a single and for some unexplained reason I have always been paired with players that were fun to play with. Dumb luck....
Great course but tough weather
Love the course but right now it's quite wet still. Perfect drives are lost regularly. So muddy they have not been able to mow much.
Greens how ever are still in perfect condition. Slightly slower than normal but rolling true abs not at all Squishy. A bit on the high side for the state of the course and how many balls the fairways eat. Won't be coming back till it dries out awhile.
Good challenging course
This is a very good course nice long par 5's and challenging pin positions. Right now the course is VERY wet and carts are restricted to the cart path. Despite the rains the grounds staff have done a phenomenal job of maintaining the course. Pace of play is slow right now understandabley due to rain and cart path restrictions. Still a challenging fun course to enjoy for all levels of golfers.
Nice Track
The course was in pretty good shape for the amount of rain they've had. Enjoyed the layout and challenge. Played to my handicap for never playing the course. I would recommend and will play again sometime.
