Wildhawk Golf Club

Wildhawk golf course is a beautiful golf course thats challenging and fair. I've played this course three times and every time I played I had a great time. I highly recommend this golf course!

This is a good course for beginner to intermediate golfers. Not too much tall rough. The 16th and 18th holes are very interesting. Both have water. Course was in great shape except for the tee boxes , which could use a little work.

I play Wildhawk quite a bit, and always enjoy myself. Last time I played, I was very upset because I booked online after clicking on a promo, and when I got to the course I was told that I needed to print it and bring it in to get that deal. I went back and looked after, and it shows in tiny print to get the coupon, but no place that you need it.

The course is flat, with a few challenges, but wide open fairways, and a couple of driveable par 4s. Everybody I know has there all time best round here, and that fact also makes it very popular, so rounds can be very long. 15th hole is one of my favorites. Only 250 over water, but a narrow green. Fun to go for it, but an easy par if you hit an iron off the tee 180. The dog friendly adds a star to any review in my book.

This is a nice comfortable, relatively flat course it is fair. Not too difficult. Good condition. Beautiful closing hole.

No rain just plays heck w sac courses. Greens were very good though, play was fast for a Sunday

Wildhawk is a great mid-range course. Full amenities and some interesting and challenging holes.

We were stuck behind a five some. That's just not right. They were the last group of a tournament. My twosome was paired with another twosome where one just was not ready to play actual golf. Thankfully they played only nine holes. However all players were super nice which sort of makes up for the pace issue. The course itself was in great condition and good value if you get a promo deal.

I like the layout and the degree of difficulty is just right for my level of play. Good challenge yet very fair.

Did not know much about Wild Hawk because of my living in the Highway 80 corridor. Nice layout for the middle handicapper . Nice trees, some water,flat . Course has a country setting. Very happy with the staff,and ground personel .one who went out of his way to show me around. It was my first visit. I have played 18 courses in the Sacramento area in my 14 months here and have not been disappointed yet.

Great time with a good group Pace was great however it was twilight. Used the Drinks on Us email. Thank you. Some of the bunkers were hard pan. Love the course.

They are watering way too much. I understand that with the heat you don't want the grass to burn but there was so much standing water everywhere that it was as if we were playing in the winter. Course management needs to monitor the watering instead of just turning everything on for an extra 30 min a day.

The course was in excellent condition. Greens were fairly fast and in good shape.

Have played this course a few times before. Saw a good deal on golfnow so thought I would play it again. It is a nice little course, fairways were in very good shape as were the greens and bunkers. It is not a hard course but has a lot of bunkers and some water. If you stay in the fairway and out of the rough you will probably have a good round. Had some tough pin placements today but it keeps you on your toes. I love the course and always seems to score well here but the pace of play was really bad, took 4 hours and 40 minutes. We were waiting on every hole which kind of ruins your rhythm. This course is always busy, but they have to speed things up if they want the people coming back. I love the course and will play it again but it is not at the top of my list to play it again any time soon. I do however recommend the course, golfers will enjoy it. I would also like to say that the staff were all very nice. The food is always pretty good here and with a good cold drink you can sit in or outside and watch what is happening on the 10th or 18th holes, the 18th is a very nice finishing hole.

Not just the putting surfaces, the entire course was lush with the green of early spring.

Excellent shape for mid-February. Pace was a little slow, but it was a holiday.

I gave three stars for course condition because we have had a lot of rain recently and some fairways were a little soggy, which is expected. I highly recommend this course.

If you want a great golfing experience this is the place. Everytime I feel like I'm the only player out there. The staff is friendly and attentive. The course is always in great shape (and always improving).

A fun course, challenging all levels of players. Terrific greens. Will definitely play his course again.
