Nice variety for a muni / public course.

Some doglegs, some water, but mostly pretty easy for double digit handicappers. If you use course management you can post your handicap or better.
Need to use 3 wood on many holes due to bunkers and narrow handing area off the tee with driver.
Clever design, but if you're an experienced / smart golfer, it will make you think your way around a well maintained and good looking golf course.

Had an enjoyable early morning round on a not to difficult layout

I had my brother visiting from Oregon and we wanted to try Wildhawk GC. We were very pleased with the course over all, the staff is great and friendly , the facilities are all clean and well maintained. The course its self was in great shape even with the drought restrictions! I will most definitely play here again, and start inviting all my friends as well. Keep up the great work Wildhawk!

Over all excellent course. Tee boxes were a bit off placement to rating and slope but above average in maintenance and condition especially with the drought. Almost still green and the greens are in perfect condition.

Course, as always, is in very good shape. Greens are rolling well and pretty quick. Only negative factor was the placement of several of the "white" tee blocks. For whatever reason, they were moved way forward, up to the "green" tees. Although the scorecard says 5,800+ yards for the whites, it played much shorter. Several hundred yards so, I would guess. If I wanted to play a short course, I would choose the short tees myself. 5,800 yards is already pretty short, I certainly didn't want it any shorter.

Play this course three to four times a year. Course does not drain well so winter play is very soggy. Major complaint is pace of play. As said previously, play here three to four times a year and pace has always been 4 /12 to 5 hrs. every time. If you have the time it is a fun course.

Last time played here was about a year ago, will be back soon.......

This is not our first time at Wildhawk. We love this course because it is well kept and a little challenging. We're always greeted by friendly staff in the golf shop, on the course, and in the restaurant. The location is perfect for us.

I believe I paid a higher rate through Golfnow than I would have at the clubhouse. The greens were recently sanded and CH offered a discounted rate beyond the standard GolfNow rate.

The only issue I had was the tee time listing did not mention the green as was aerated 5 days before. I did my know until I received the Golfnow purchase confirmation. I feel I should have known in advance.

Course was in great condition save for the fact that the greens were punched first of the week so were very sandy.

Played during aerification of greens in between thunderstorms and finished in 2 hours for a full 18 while preparing for a tournament in Las Vegas. Decent track.

Relatives from Michigan were visiting and I scheduled a round at Wildhawk because it is a friendly, not too challenging course for golfers who don't play often.

I don't know how they do it with the draught in California, but we found the entire course to be in excellent shape. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were green and beautiful. We had a great time.

This course is manageable for the average player. Friendly staff and often good deals. Sumilar to Teal Bend in my mind- but less expensive and better pace possibly. At least sumilar for tees I play (mixed white gold at teal). Condition of course was great.

My brother picked this course while I was up visiting from San Diego and said I would enjoy this place. Man was he right!! First off the entire course was in Great Condition all around. The traps had plenty of sand and there are A LOT of them, the greens were fast and true yet receptive which a well struck shot, the fairways were green and in great shape with no bare/brown spots I saw and the rough was thick and made you think about shot selection.
We got there an hour early and the driving range was close at 830am for some maintaince but there was no one on the tee so we were able to off. A single joined us and we played in 3 1/2hrs and waited on a 4some a bit on the last few holes but it was minimal.
Staff was great and friendly but we didn't eat anything as we left after our round.
They designed a fun course with a bit of everything on it with lots of undulations throughout and this was a flat piece of land before they did there magic. I will defiantly be back next time I'm up as its one of my favorites in the area and I have played them all.

The course was n great shape but the greens were to long thus very slow. The high priced round would have been great if they would now their greens daily

5 hour round that felt like 6. 2 sometimes three groups on the part 3s. Course condition was great. Speed of the greend was nice. Fairways were cut and maintained well. Some tee boxes could use help. Overall love the layout. Playing from the back tees make it a touchabit more challenging.

We played on a perfect winter weather day. The course was in good shape the roughs were a little deep greens were in good putting condition traps were a little hard and crusty but overall a descent round Definitely be back soon
