About
Rowlett’s first course has been laid out over a flat range of pasture, supplemented by 15 acres of lakes and over 1,000 new trees. Designed to be hacker friendly, the lack of mature trees provide an especially generous look and feel, tempting the mid-level handicapper to tee it up from the 7,191 yard tips and go long off the tee. Bent greens are the highlight of the round here–they roll true and provide solid opportunities to snake in a few long putts.
Getting there : Off of I-30 exit Dalrock Rd. and drive north through Hwy. 66. A half-mile past 66 veer left on Princeton, which dead-ends at Liberty Grove. Turn right into the Waterview division and take Waterview Pkwy. to the clubhouse

Goid value
Greens were in good shape; slower than most. Fairways in good condition; rough is torn up in many spots. 4:35 pace of play Sunday morning. Overall it is a good value for the money.
Very fun course, busy!
Loved the course, layout, and condition of the course. I would definitely play this again. 1 downside is it is very busy and I would even say overbooked tee times. Had to wait almost 10 min to tee off and the pace of play was slower than average. Still would play this course again
Great shape
The course is in fantastic shape. Greens ran true and the fairways were in excellent condition. I’ve played waterview before and pace of play was slow, but today was great.
I would assume on the weekends it’s pretty slow, but on a Monday it was great.
Course is in good shape
The green could roll a little smoother and faster but overall the course is in good shape.
Better Than Expected
Found it to be much better than I expected Beto read some of the lower rated comments. The course is in great shape, the range was separated into putting, chipping, other so you could warm up the way you needed to. Some distance markers would have been nice, but still in good order.
Fun course
We had a nice time playing g on Sunday. Course was in good decision, a little dry in place, but occasionally gave us a good bounce down the fairway. Would definitely play it again.
Overpriced
Tried to leave a lengthy review, but the app won’t let me. BLUF: if you are going to spend $70, play elsewhere.
4 Minute Tee times lead to 6 hour round
We got to our tee time for the starter to let us know they are 20 minutes behind. He mentioned they had booked tee times every 4 minutes and the course was slowing down. We proceeded to wait 20 minutes a shot for a 6 hour round. Marshalls could only move so much along since to many groups were out on the course.
Great value
The greens had recently been punched so they were pretty bumpy but it’s a great layout and lots of fun.
Better than expected
would play again. but fairways and greens are getting pretty dry. get out there before its all hard pan!
Pleasantly Surprised
Overall the course was a fun, challenging course. Fairways could use a little work. Greens and bunkers were all in good shape. Personnel were nice and friendly. Clubhouse could use a makeover. Overall, I would play again.
