Overall the course is great, the greens had better days and I imagine they will. Always a great game on this course

I really enjoyed playing here. Will be returning soon.

A place you can score and challenging at the same time

Great course layout snd the greens/fairways are in great condition this time of year. I played last week and have been back twice since then. Fun course!

After replacing the greens, WV continued to be a fun track. Greens still have a lot of bumps and wiggles. Play this track few times a month, this the first time ever, Kate in the day, wind was blowing 25+, finished 18 and bets were tied, we were one of maybe 5 groups in the course, and Paul send out a marshal twice to interrupt our match to make sure they expected the extra $10 bucks because we got in a couple extra holes. So, we will skip this track for the next few months! Then marshal was very nice but if he would have brought an opposite message from Paul, prolly would have motivated us to schedule a return trip! Not for a while...

We booked Waterview with a Hot Deal so we able to play for $25 which is a really fair price for this course. Course is in good shape for winter. Greens were in really good condition and rolling fast and smooth. Pace of play was great as we finished our round in a little over 4 hours.

The course was in good condition and I enjoyed the golf. Nice mix of both challenging and scoring holes.

The only negative was that as a single I was paired with an existing threesome. When I arrived for check in... the Pro shop informed me that I'd be charged double the rate I had booked for the cart fee because I was in a separate cart. Note- This was not because I had requested to do so... rather because the single in the threesome had already left the pro shop and I couldn't verify he was OK with sharing a cart with a stranger during the Covid/social distancing situation. I was fine with sharing but couldn't speak for the other party. The Pro shop staff made no attempt or offer to verify either.

I questioned the fairness of the charge but since

there were several golfers behind me in line to check in... I paid the additional fee so as not to delay others.

Under normal conditions I'd completely understand the policy if I had wanted/booked a separate cart... but given the situation at the time, it's frustrating and disappointing that it wasn't handled differently by the course. The additional $14 charge wasn't enough to get upset about... but it did tarnish what otherwise was a good golfing experience.

Best ran course in dfw area for us public folk...course is tough almost didn’t review cause I don’t want it packed but Trey runs this course better than most. Greens are fast and elevated and course is long so no PRs here but they treat you right and they know what they are doing. No complaints here...check it out you won’t be disappointed....

Something that could been just an normal golf cart issue became a discomforting and unacceptable experience due to rude and careless staffs. During 9th hole, Senior staff switched the golf cart My friend and I had, because the cart had a flat tire. The new cart (electric) was little bit slower than the previous one, but It seemed fine. As we reached 10th hole, the new cart seemed to slow down during the uphill, and at the end of the 10th hole, the cart actually couldnt climb even slight uphills. And, finally, the cart stopped and wouldnt move even if my friend stepped on the gas pedal. We called the office again, told the staff telling him the cart was dead and wouldn't move. Two young staffs came with two new carts. Right when they were trying to replace our cart with the new one, our cart started working again. (prpbably because battery recharged a little bit during the time we waited for the staffs). I knew that it will stop again, but those guys left without a single word, giving me the look like "are you guys joking". I tried to stop them shouting "excuse me" because I still wanted to change the cart, knowing it was running out of battery, but they totally ignored me and just left. Just as I predicted, the cart stopped running again after like a minute. Because of those looks the staff memebrs gave me and the fact that it was 5 30pm. My friend and I just decided to go back to the clubhouse, as one of us pushed on gas pedal and the other pushed the cart from the back on every up heel. (TOTAL DISTANCE OF 2 PAR 4 HOLES!!!!) I went into the clubhouse, because I wanted to report the issue, but also at the same time, to let them know how frustrated I was, when they just abandoned us with this cart with no battery. When I told them what happened, there was no signs of apology, but just total ignorance. It makes no sense that customers had to take reponsibility for the mistakes of the golf course staffs. Never in my golfing life, i have ever experienced more disturbing situation than this one. I am never coming back to this golf course and will never recommend it to anyone.

On the back nine, there is a bathroom between holes 14 & 15. As this round was during the holidays, there were good specials on attire in the pro shop.
