About
Seven Springs Country Club in New Port Richey offers two golf courses, the Challenger and the Championship. The club conveniently sits just minutes from the scenic Gulf of Mexico beaches and attractions of Tampa Bay. The Challenger Course is an executive-length layout that offers the same challenges as the more demanding Championship Course but on a smaller scale. There are not as many water features on the Challenger but there is a large lake and a meandering creek that comes into play on several holes. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The layout offers a gentler version of the Championship that is more manageable for beginners but it is also a great quick round for more experienced players. It is even gentle enough for juniors to get in some short game practice.

Not very good
Wasn't told I would be sharing the course with a soccer golf tournament. Went to get a drink at the turn bar stood there for 20 mins and no one ever came. I played 9 holes and left in disgust.
Fair
Nice layout. Tee boxes need serious work. Ortherwise it is a nice fun test. For the money no complaints
Executive course
Foot golfers were very disrespectful and slow. Playing same holes as golfers made for very slow play.
Great time
Play this course multiple times. We always meet the nicest people to enhance the experience.
I made a mistake
The executive course is poor. Also no attention as far as guidance, map, or help....you are on your own.
Confusing layout
Although the layout was somewhat confusing, the course itself was pretty good. Supper fast well kept greens!
Course not marked very well, hard to figure out where to go. People playing foot golf on the same holes we were on, confusing.
Nice round
The pace of play could have been better but this was the first day in weeks with the temps in the 80s. All the rain has greened up the course. We’ll be back.
