Executive at Seven Springs Country Club
About
Seven Springs Country Club in New Port Richey offers two golf courses, the Challenger and the Championship. The club conveniently sits just minutes from the scenic Gulf of Mexico beaches and attractions of Tampa Bay. The Challenger Course is an executive-length layout that offers the same challenges as the more demanding Championship Course but on a smaller scale. There are not as many water features on the Challenger but there is a large lake and a meandering creek that comes into play on several holes. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The layout offers a gentler version of the Championship that is more manageable for beginners but it is also a great quick round for more experienced players. It is even gentle enough for juniors to get in some short game practice.

We like it it’s close by and the restaurant’s food is awesome and the people are very friendly
Nice executive course
Nice short course. Some challenges along the way, but a good course for all levels of players. Many of the greens had rough playing areas, but ok playing. I will definitely play this course again.
Value best reason to play here
The course condition is pretty rough in many areas. It's tolerable considering the price.
Get what you pay for
Based on low price we paid it was a fun little course. Tees and greens were not good, but playable. Hard to find. GolfNow address took us to a school (not near course). Course website address took us to locked gate we couldn’t enter, but had sign to enter from Little street. Good thing we left early!!
Good Executive course
Seven Spring is a busy place - we never get a chance to play the big course but enjoy the executive course. Lots of par 3’s from short to long. The greens could be better but so could be my game. Very forgiving course. Sometimes it’s difficult to figure out where the next hole (tee box) is.
Disappointing
I used to play this course years ago & it was in TERRIFIC condition. Not today.....there was something happening on every green, (fertilizer, sand, etc.,) making putting virtually impossible. The pace on the 1st 9 was ok, but when we made the turn, suddenly there were 2 4-somes in front of us., making us wait endlessly on every hole. We finally left on the 13th...just couldn’t take the wait...(they obviously sent folks off the back).......had a beer in the fabulous lounge.
Good value for the cost
For an executive course it has some interesting par 4's.
Greens were inconsistent but playable. If you want a good warm up round I would recommend this course for your short game.
Nice Course
When I booked for this course I did not notice that it was an Executive Plus. However, this course is fairly challenging. Conditions were not up to our expectations but for the price its was OK. Speed of greens were not consistent. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Very Friendly Staff
Overall really decent course not for the average Joe that's looking for a easy course. Very challenging as far as positioning your next shot . Makes you use a lot of different clubs in your bag.
Short course
Signage was bad on where to go for driving range and tee boxes. It felt like they tried to squeeze the course in. I think they would of been better off making it a longer 9 hole course
Challenging short course
Typical Florida golf, some very tight holes, very good chance to hit a house, literally.
Tee boxes are all sand and the greens were hard and sandy.
Fun course for the price I played. I will play the Championship course next time, it looks much nicer.
RED TEES NEED TO BE CHANGED!
I generally hit the ball straight, so have no problem with this track, but, if you slice or hook, there is OB everywhere. It’s quite a challenging executive course. The one problem I see is that the red tees are only 15-20’ in front of the blue tees. First of all, the reds appear to be mis-marked too, meaning the score card & the actual course, don’t seem to jive. I can smack the ball pretty well, but find it virtually impossible to hit the par 3’s. I’d really like to see the reds moved up since I find it disheartening that they are so close to the blue...I’ll NEVER beat my
husband!!
