Championship at Seven Springs Country Club

Only played 8 of the 18 holes I paid for before finally throwing in the towel to the ranger who stopped our foursome AT LEAST 5 times from the first box to the 8th green. The first couple of times he pretended to be friendly and jovial making small talk but still taking time from our round to do so. When we finished 8 he literally got out of his cart to show us his watch and tell us what time it was saying we were “15 minutes past their pace” and basically told us we needed to start playing speed golf. I play once a week all over the Tampa area and have NEVER been told I’m playing too slow. IF YOU WANT TO PLAY A FUN, CASUAL ROUND ON A COURSE WITH A FRIENDLY STAFF DO NOT PLAY HERE. Drove almost an hour and couldn’t even get a refund because I used GOLFNOW. Waste of a beautiful Saturday.

Coarse was in good, shape greens rolled true and fast,,starter was very friendly

Really disappointed today. Why does the maintenance staff cut the fairways so close that there’s not much grass? I play the ball as it lies and many shots inside the fairways make it so hard to score. The greens were okay. Very happy I found a $25 Hot Deal! Some people were paying $50. I mean it’s really sad to be in the middle of fairway or next to green having a lie that’s on dirt. Sure wish slow golfers would learn to waive single players past them!

First time through course website was $65.00.Through tee-off $38.00.Conditionsvery nice greens fast but true.Little disappointed only because didn’t see as many gators as first time.Great value through tee-off even worth the $65.00.

Fun course in good shape. Not a easy on. Slow pace, was delayed from first tee already.

But we will be back.

When we arrived at the third hole, there were 4 groups including ours waiting to tee off on this par 5. All were twosomes. Why would the starter send out 4 twosomes in a row on an overcrowded course?? 2:45 to play the front, less for the back since groups in front of us started fleeing.

Very tight lies on all the fairways. Greens were decent and consistent. Course is very narrow with lots of white stakes and lots of water. Many balls were lost that day. Facilities are very poorly marked, the Pro Shop has no sign of any kind - just keep trying different doors. No signs to the snack bar at the turn - each and every new player is expected to find their way to the restaurant and have a staff member show them to the snack bar. Many signs tell you to call ahead for food at the snack bar, but the phones don't work according to the guy in the snack bar. Poorly managed place obviously. Stunning wildlife, mostly birds.

This is one of those courses where you can’t force your shots. You have to take what the course gives you.

Staff is very friendly, the amenities are clean and cared for very well. Course is a bit of a challenge, especially from the blues but very enjoyable to play

We played behind a foursome that had a two free holes in front of them, never offered to let us play through. Just passed them at the turn. A Marshall would have made them speed up or let people through.

Had a group of five in front of us all day, tee boxes were in average shape. Fairways were average lots of grass clumping, greens were in decent shape not a long course layout was good. It was overpriced by about $30.00 definitely better choices out there for the fee.

Course was in good condition for Florida heavy play and weather. They overbooked both front on back nine so we had to wait about a 1/2 hour for groups to go ahead of us. Marshal explained this and was excellent at making us feel comfortable. Staff was very good, pro shop restaurant and cart people. Will be back. Food was good.
