Championship at Seven Springs Country Club
About
Seven Springs Country Club offers two golf courses, the Championship and an executive course. Located in New Port Richey, the courses are just minutes away from Tampa Bay and the scenic Gulf of Mexico beaches. The Championship Course offers a challenge for players of all skill levels, especially if it's a windy day. There are a few bunkers scattered along the greensides but water is the most prominent hazard. There are numerous lakes and ponds throughout that come into play on almost every hole. Towering pines and cypress trees also frame most of the holes. Thanks to the challenging layout, lush fairways, and manicured greens, the golf course has earned the reputation of being one of Pasco County's best. Seven Springs also offers a practice facility with an excellently conditioned driving range with four target greens and a hitting area that is 300 yards in length.

Great course
Challenging course in great condition given lack of rain. Well maintained greens and fairways. One of best courses I have played in Florida for relatively low cost.
Nice layout
Greens great. Rest is out of season barely any grass substance
Play here often
Very wildlife tropical Florida course, home of Big Al & her family the local Alligators is always cool to me . Course is in nice shape Very challenging but fair, slow day but many golfers out on a beautiful day. Will be enjoying many more rounds here
Course condition
greens were slow and the fairways need grass and water. houses to close to fairways
Pleasant Day
A friend of mine and I decided to head north and get away from the rain and played Seven Springs. The course had gotten 3" of rain but played fairly well. The course was in good condition tee to green and the guys we got paired up with Eddie & Greg were a joy to play with. If you're in the area it's a good course for the money and always has been.

Best Round of Golf I've Had in Tampa Bay Area
Overall the Best Round of Golf I've ever played. I shot a 77 on the Champion Course. The staff was extremely nice in the Pro Shop, Justin was very informative and the check in process with Chris was fast and smooth, they work very well as a team. The outside staff was extremely nice as well and the starter made sure we left on time. The tee boxes could use a little work, but the fairways and greens made up for it in the end. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed after the round. It would have been nice if it was open, so i could have a cold beer and a good wrap. Overall this is a great course to play.
Worse Golf course I have ever played
$53 for two, Stay away. course in horrible shape, fairways hard as a rock, greens slow but ok, fringe around green horrible. Save your money and find another course or go to a bar and watch golf on TV. Will not play again ever. 2 young guys in pro shop had zero and i mean zero personality and very unfriendly. Bar was good as prices were decent and patrons were friendly.
another great day of golf
while not one of my favorite courses due to the overall difficulty of the layout, it does still bring out my best. played with my wife and we really enjoyed the overall experience.
Greens were A
fairways were B
tees were a D (but who really cares as you tee it up anyway)
This course has quicker greens
I liked the layout with having to move balls around large trees and greens held reasonably well and rolled nicely. Fairways were a little thin but overall we enjoyed course and will definitely be back.
Glad this is an option on GolfNow
I was looking for a new course to play in the Tampa area. Saw this course on the list in GolfNow and didn't recall seeing it there before. So I checked the reviews. All positive, but it looked like they had just become part of the network again after about a hiatus. So I booked a tee time. Glad I did. This is a fun course. Challenging layout for its length, with lots of dog legs, and some tight fairways. Fortunately I was paired with some members who were kind in providing lines for tee shots. Greens were in excellent condition and good speed. Fair pin placements and no crab grass or rot on the greens. Overall, I was really pleased. I will be back to this course.
7 springs
Golf Now is great. I hope Seven Springs stays with them
This is a great course to golf.
This course is awesome to play. It has challenging holes for all golfers regardless of experience. I had a rain delay of about 1/2 hour and when I resumed play the course held up great!!!
Great course for the money
Will definitely play again. This course was challenging and in very good shape. Nothing fancy but a great value
Course kept good
Like this course. Often play it when we are in Florida. But quite. Challenging
Very nice lay-out
A very nice and not to difficult course.Partly between houses, but with plenty of space on the well maintained fairways.
An ideal course for a relaxed afternoon of golf.
This course requires skill and strategy.
Not only did I have to focus on how to play but I had to focus on HOW TO PLAY!! Almost every fairway is designed to outlast you. Even the par 3's are challenging yet being a lady new to the game the fairways are wide which balances it for me. If it weren't for distance I'd play here every week.
The overall experience was very good will play again
The course was very well maintained and had some really nice holes. Greens were recently aerated but played fair considering. Will play again.
