Championship at Seven Springs Country Club
About
Seven Springs Country Club offers two golf courses, the Championship and an executive course. Located in New Port Richey, the courses are just minutes away from Tampa Bay and the scenic Gulf of Mexico beaches. The Championship Course offers a challenge for players of all skill levels, especially if it's a windy day. There are a few bunkers scattered along the greensides but water is the most prominent hazard. There are numerous lakes and ponds throughout that come into play on almost every hole. Towering pines and cypress trees also frame most of the holes. Thanks to the challenging layout, lush fairways, and manicured greens, the golf course has earned the reputation of being one of Pasco County's best. Seven Springs also offers a practice facility with an excellently conditioned driving range with four target greens and a hitting area that is 300 yards in length.

Very challenging course
The fairways had just been cross-cut and the course still played well. Seven Springs has always been an enjoyable course.
You should try this course at least once
I haven't played Seven Springs in almost 25 years. COurse is really nice but very wet with all the rain. Fun course, not a lot of trouble to get into. Plus, saw two nice alligators. One on the front, the other on the back. After I shot a tough 88, we had ice cold beers for Happy Hour! Great place, c'mon out!
Terrible management
Management decided to start a shot gub tournament right in the middle of our round. As we made the turn to the 10th tee we found a bunch of golfers waitng to tee off. The new golfers were told that the course was empty, and obviously they had to wait as well because there were quite a few golfers ahead of us that already had made the turn. The day really dragged on at that point.
Very nice course
My first time there, found the staff very friendly, and the course was in great shape. Water(s) around the course can be challenging.
The course has a fun layout - for beginners to experienced players. I enjoy the doglegs, you get to shape your shots.

Play Seven Springs its fun course in really good shape.
Even with all the rain the fairways and greens were is good shape and the staff was friendly and helpfull. Cart path only slowed down the play down a bit but it had to be with all the rain we have had for the last two weeks.
nice layout but not for the novice player.
This course is great for the short hitter or a good placement hitter but if your long and left or right you'll be in trouble all day.
Course was in excellent condition for this time of year - challenging course with excellent greens
The course was in excellent condition for this time of year. Fairways and greens were excellent with the greens being quite quick if above the hole. Challenging course for all skill levels - to score well better bring your A-game. Some of the sand traps could have used a little more sand in them.
great round of golf
This course has been play many times over the last few years, sometimes as many as 6 to 10 per year.
Forgot the challenge of this course
Short but tough. Target golf in some sense. Greens and fairways are really nice to play.
Lots of water and yesterday lots of gators on the banks. Wow!
The great thing about Crescent Oaks is the staff that greets you in the pro shop. Second, the fairways are narrow and surrounded by water on a lot of the holes. Makes you study where to make your shots. Only problem we had was having to wait on each tee during the back nine. (Two of us and it must have been a league in front of us and they couldn't let us through. All in all I am ready to return and shoot under 100 instead of 101.
Nice Greens, Good Difficulty , B+
Tee boxes could use some work, greens were mostly very nice, tougher for bad putters b/c of many difficult breaks. Tough the first go around with no knowledge of the course but would definitely play again, especially knowing the course now. For it's Golf Now price range I would rather golf at place like Saddlebrook, Tampa Bay CC which is phenominal , etc. while they're rates are low.
Seven Springs Golf Course, New Port Richey, FL
Nice course for the value. Well maintained greens that were well placed and fast.
Tight with lots a water.great value course
Course in great shape fairways where prestine. Greens were rolling true and average speed. Great all round course
Consistently good greens, lots of grass in fairways
This course is normally in excellent condition and is noted for keeping fairways with very good turf all the year around when many surrounding courses suffer in the dry Spring conditions. If there is any criticism, it is the lack of trimming some trees especially near the tees making it a disadvantage for long hitters who can shape their drives. the front tees are also a bit too long for the average female golfer.
always a pleasure to play seven springs
Except for the tee boxes the course is in excellent condition
Fantastic
Yes, I said fantastic. This is one of the nicest courses I have ever played. No its no Pine Barrens or Saddle Brook(palmer course), but it is one of the most beautiful back to nature courses you will ever play. You will use every club in your bag as there are only a few holes you can go right at due to doglegs, water and woods. Yes it was a little dry as all the courses in this area are due to the lack of rain and heat we have been suffering from. This is the first course I have played in a long time that didn't have garbage all over the course. The greens were true without hundreds of divets in them. And all the bunkers were raked by the players as played.(That was a first) as no one rakes bunkers anywhere else I play. These patrons love they're course as they should. I guess you get what you pay for. Yes this course cost a little more than the other courses in the area, But WOW you get a totally different class of players here which makes the course so much more beautiful and enjoyable. I don't know who the guy was in the pro shop, but thank you (BROTHER) for making my visit so enjoyable.
the course is in great shape.
the chalenger course is a real gem. all par three's are tough and test your iron skills.
As always, i have enjoyed playing seven springs championship course for years
Seven Springs champion course has always challenged my level of golf, it makes you focus on every shot, I play more conservative on that course then any other course, the greens are true to read and are in great condition. The results are always my best when I play at seven springs champion course.
nice greens maintained course
Nice fairways a hidden gem in pasco greens run true a must play.
So sorry about that day, I do remember and I think it was a tee time snafu, Please contact me in the golf shop!
I would love to have you out to see the renovations.
