Championship at Seven Springs Country Club

Greens in very good shape. Staff was excellent. Some weed clumps just off green held up shots. Cart guys in parking lot are fantastic. Not overbooked. Had a great time(4 hrs) with my 7 idiot buddies.

I have played there many times. always a good challenge. well worth the $$$$

Recent heavy rains had some fairways soggy- muddy-cart path only. Greens were green but slow, again due to weather and non-ability to cut them. Overall, course is challenging, many positional lay up shots. Looking forward to playing again when the summer rains ease up.

Always play this course which is usually in great shape. However they are punching out holes all over the fairways which I did not know and it was terrible. Greens are real nice. They probably need a couple of weeks to be good again. I will wait until later on to play this course again. It's this time of the year for that.

We had not play this cThey aerated the fairways before we played. We were disappointed that the pro shop attendant nor the starter mentioned it before we teed off. We were a two-some, bit pace of play did seem a little slow, although we did finish in 4 hours 15 minutes. Greens were slow and restaurant was closed when we finished at 2:30- summer hours.

Saturday was the first time I played the course in over 10 years. It did nit disappoint. I forgot how challenging it was. You really have to think your shots, because placement is everything, and water can mess you up. Can't wait ti play it again.

This course is awesome and it will wear your butt out specially in this hot Florida weather that we’re having here in June, welcome to summer in Florida. I had a great time at this course. I find it very challenging. The greens seem to be in great condition as well as the fairways and the tea boxes. The staff was very friendly to all that we had talked to, and especially the groundskeepers. They were exceptionally nice when we passed by them, had a great time and I have planned to play there more. I suggested if you have the endurance for a big course like this if not, maybe wait till winter?

I’ve played this course 5 times or so in the last 6 years. The layout is very good but the course conditions have deteriorated to the point that I won’t be back. The staff is friendly, especially Paul the starter.

When we arrived we learned that they had aerated the day before but that was not apparent on Golf Now when I made reservation. They had also topdressed the greens very heavily which is fine but they did not drag any of the greens that we had played until we were on #17. Most of the fairways, tee boxes and aprons were in rough shape. Having lived in Florida for over twenty years I have learned that if you don’t have your golf course in good shape in May and June you never will because they just go downhill through the summer when the heat and rain take their toll.

Enjoyed my round. Greens are nice. Be back soon if the price is right. Got to lower rates for more frequent rounds.
