Better than most
Maintenance is doing a great job. Men should be proud
Great shape
Started out the lady in the pro shop was very friendly and happy to see me. The pace of play was excellent and the course was in excellent shape. I would return without hesitation.
Best of the Rest
This was the best course I played all year. The Fairways and Greens were in excellent condition, Pro Shop staff was very helpful and pleasant.First time playing there and won't be the last, highly recommend.
Best Course in Volusia County
Best municipal course in Volusia county. Greens are always quick and challenging, makes for a fun short game challenge. Forgiving off the tee and great hole layouts. I’d play this course 365 days of the year.
Great value, amazing greens, fast play
Absolutely loved this course! The greens are pristine, rolling fast, even, and they course has a very friendly layout. Pace of play was very fast, and I can’t wait to play here again. My brother lives in Orlando, I’m in St Augustine, and this was a great spot to meet and play at press one per month.
Another day at the beach
Had a great time, weather was clear, hot , then afternoon late rain. Typical Florida summer day. Course in great shape, the greens were the best I have played on in quite some time.
New S. Golf
Great greens
Great fairways but dry in places
Due to drought conditions
Nice employed
Players are cordial
Great little course
Played this with my 19yo son. Fun round. Narrow fairways. It did seem that tee boxes were close to previous greens so you want to stay alert for errant shots from the group behind you on a few holes. I will definitely play again. Sand traps were friendly for those of us who struggle with accuracy.
Always a pleasure, and better than ever.
In the middle of a hot, dry summer (by Florida standards), you wouldn't expect a muni course to be in perfect condition but NSB Golf Club was every bit of that.
The greens were fast and true, and the grounds were well taken care of. It's not the "not a blade of grass out of place" type of condition that you might get at a high end resort, but the fairways were consistent with a decent amount of grass and no bare spots that I saw, the rough was a fair height, and the traps and areas around the green were excellent.
New S course
Great greens. Best in town
Great course greens, fairways, and greens
Great employees
More Donald Ross
Another fantastic DR layout. The greens were green and slick and undualting. The rest of course was at a lesser level. Beautiful links style track. Great place to enjoy a round. Fair but challenging too!
Good value and great greens!
Course was in good shape and the greens were perfect.
Quick Morning Round While on Vacation
Greens were in fantastic shape and it’s clear that’s where the money is spent on maintenance. Played in 3:15 as a threesome teeing off at 9:15. For the money it’s hard to beat, but it gets the 4 star rating since the fairways were basically the rough. Would be easy to walk if it wasn’t the middle of July.
