Herons Glen Golf & Country Club

Had tee time of 1:37. At 1:45 it started raining with lightning. At about 3:15, restarted round. Course was very wet but no cart restrictions ( should have been cpo to protect course.) People were first class professional, friendly and helpful. Course is PERFECT. I could not find a single weed anywhere. Tees were green quality and fairways and greens even better. If I lived in the area, I would love to be a member.

Great course, staff great time. Extremely attentive staff. Constantly riding around, asking if we needed anything. Delivered cold towels on an extremely hot day.

Herons Glen checks all the boxes.. Not sure about food and drinks, but the course conditions are 10/10 and the staff are great. Top 3 public courses in the area..

My party and I arrived late (at exactly our tee time, not ideal) and were greeted by Jimmy in the ProShop with welcome banter and assurance we were still good to go to play our round of golf. Jimmy was friendly with just the right amount of ribbing about pretty much everything from our tardiness to our lack of preparedness. It was hot as all get out and the course was not extremely busy for our 1:45 tee time

, yet there were still plenty of staff offering cold towels throughout our round, as well as direction towards the holes we could find cold drinking water at. Overall it was a pleasant experience despite the heat and my abysmal play. 100% recommend this course if you’re in the area.

The course was great, the layout is a little weird, lots of driving between holes, pace of play was a little slow. Course is short if you don't play from the tips, but it was in excellent shape, greens were fast, fairways are awesome, bunkers are good.

Go there! Being welcomed by everyone at Herons Glen. At the bag drop, in the Pro Shop, by the Ranger - great guys! And even the course is saying Hello to you. Greens, fairways on top Level, course layout wonderful, overall great experience!

Really enjoyed my day here. Didn’t have much time to warm up, maybe 5 min, but hit a few balls and checked in with the starter. They sent me over to hole 10! So that was a bit of a shock so early in the morning. Their directions were good. I found the other starter and he set me up with a twosome. They were friendly and decent at golf. We kept our pace and finished in 4 hours and 15 min. Not bad.

The course was in great shape. Tee boxes were nice. Greens were nice- some with evidence of recent aeration but that did not affect me.

Staff was super nice, remembered my name!

Carts are basic- bring your range finder and a cooler. Bring a towel. Bring lots of water.

Super fun course. Had a wonderful day. Will be back for sure.

You won't be disappointed. Fun layout combined with pristine conditions all the way around. There may not be a better conditioned course in the area! It's one of those 'can't wait to play it again' courses. Great staff too!

Looking forward to playing it again soon. Pristine condition. They always make you feel welcome at The Glen.

Everything was very nice. I would definitely play there again. They even came around in carts to give you cold towels which was refreshing. The only negative thing I could say was that they didn’t have any GPS on the golf carts.

Couldn't be happier with my round at Herons Glen.

Friendly helpful staff. Course in great condition. Played in just over 4 hrs. Dropped my little Bushnell range finder at the end of my round, some one turned it in and I was called by pro shop that they had it and I could pick it up at my convenience. Bravo Herons Glen. I will definitely play there again.
